Premium account when I dodnt ask for one

So I have a free account on DDO to try it out, thought I would invest in some DDO store points and entered my CC details, now it has automatically signed me up for a premium account, daylight robbery in my book, I have opened a ticket to support, I hope for their sake they don't even attempt to take a monthly subscription fee or I will report it as theft.

Just FYI anyone who purchases points from the DDO store becomes premium, it is a perk you get for supporting Turbine (now WB). There is no monthly fee and the benefits far outweigh any complaints you can think of. You now can post up to 50 auctions, you have 4 character slots, more mail space, 45 days of in-game support...etc etc

no hidden fees...it can all be found on the website for those who choose to look

Tedill thank you for your reply but I cannot find that information, I have been trying to remove my cc detials but don't appear to be able to do that without contacting their support desk, something I do not like at all.

I'm also feeling the same way - I'd like to remove my CC details. You'd think that most people would want to do that at some point.

I understand where you are both coming from but if it makes you feel better turbine is a fairly reliable company when it comes to cc info and in 4 years of playing i have never been charged anything that i didnt agree to myself.

They wont be taking any money out of your cards unless you buy more stuff or if you subscribe.There is no 14.99 a month charge for being premium.Premium is just a fancy way of saying you supported the game with a purchase of some kind.Going premium is one of the smartest things a free to play player can do.

edit* as far as cc info being removed since a lot of people either subscribe or purchase things from the ddo store most leave their cc info with turbine.Those that dont want to have their cc info on their account purchase a game card and use that.
