Oh no! If Turbine doesn't fix it promptly, all the newbies won't understand what this means and will blame Turbine for "unclear directions" once they gamble all their money away! And honestly, for the three years I've been playing (my 2008 join date is incorrect), I have never noticed this gambling table.

Didn't the Silver Flame make gambling illegal anyways? Like for example, the quest: Bringing the Light.

Wow... that screenshot is like a double rainbow to my simpletonish player eyes! What does it mean?

Yes Turbine, I woudl like an explanation, what exactly DOES 2d4 mean...?

Perhaps a 10 second in-game tutorial will help me? Like literally, ten seconds.

It would be pretty unrealistic for there to be casino game where you house didn't win. I mean, dragons and beholders are one thing, but gambling establishments setting themselves up to lose money is just silly.

It would be funny though if the odds were affected by luck enhancements and curses.

BTW, how did you calculate the odds here? I was drawing a blank on how to approach this problem.

Reverse Three Card Monte
Pull out 6 cards: 2 queens and 4 non-queens. Mix 'em up and pull out 2 cards. What are the odds one is a queen? Common sense says there are 2 queens out of 6 cards, so the odds must be around 1 in 3... true odds are 6 to 4 in favor of getting a queen!*

*NOTE: All statistics are being reported by a drunken jacka$$"

My #'s are off ...appologies.... point trying to make 9/8 times house wins

well, since 2D4 != 2 to 8, the chances of winning are higher. Still around 1% but hey, if your going to play with these odds that .2% matters!
2D4= 0.012277 (1.2277%) vs 2 to 8= 0.010204 (1.0204%)
