So I was at Game stop a few days ago and I was going to get a couple game cards for the PAX sale that was expected so I could finally go premium. Then I just read it only applies to the $50 pack? ***?

Anyway, say I bought a $25 card. If I bought another $25 card for $50 total and I activate them at the same time, do I get twice the $25 points (2x200=4k points) or will I get the $50 point pack (6900 points)

If I'll get 6900 points I'll go out and get another card for sure

Game stop cards have a set TP amount assigned too them. So any in game DDO Store promotions or bonuses do not apply.

The $25 card gives you 450 FREE points, for a total of 2,000 Turbine Points.

So you only get 2000 TP, no mater what is happening in game promotions or bonuses :(

It's a shame that they are such a rip off.

*sigh*
no WF or monk for a couple months. At least I'll still be able to get all the important packs I need

At least they still come with the bonus points of the original promotion.

so wait if you just buy the $25 card you won't be upgraded to premium? if so that sucks :(

Just buying the points won't make you premium, when you make a purchase with them in the ddo store is when you become one.

The $10 card gives you 700 points. (seventy cents per point). Spending $6.50 at the DDO store gets you 420 points and grants you premium status (which is dang sweet). These points cost 64.6 cents each.

deals above are.014286 cents each and .015476 cents each respectively.

now the in store promo vs the gamestop vs the cheapest option are;
deal 6900 for 49.95 2000 for 25.00 420 for 6.50 cost per point 0.007239
0.0125
0.015476

I am fairly certain that both these statements are untrue. Once Turbine gets your money, you are premium, or in the case of cards once you add it to your account. This of course does not apply to the free promotional card Turbine gives away at CONs

Buying a points card in a retail store does not make you Premium.
Buying items in the store does not make you Premium.

Using a points card in the DDO store does make you Premium.
Any points purchase in the store makes you Premium.
