Well you cant see the displacer beasts because they have the ability to throw their image several feet from where they are standing ... so they are their but their image is just behind the rock.

They do have displacer beasts and you have felt the effects of them many times in game we have given them a friendly short name ..... "LAG" you never see it coming, many die from it, and when we do manage to get in a swing that which we are swinging at is no longer there ..... LOL sounds like a displacer beast to me. :D

Maybe the Skilled an Cunning Ranger only put enough stat points in to wisdom to be able to cast spells with a +6 stat item equiped .... which dont make them very wise and they hunted the displacer beasts an owlbears to the point of extinction...and thats why they are not ingame.........jus sayin

I alone am responsible for the overharvesting of these creatures, my hunger for owlbear meat was insaciable, seems now I will have to make some pre-packaged tasty ham fill my appetite......again my apologies for hunting them to extinction.

My Mom was horribly mauled and eventually died from a Displacer Beast attack. I would really appreciate it if you guys didn't make light of such things. :(

I'd settle for just plain ordinary owls
