Only thing I hope ( and fear) in the introduction of the double-scimitar is that the Valenar Elf attack and melee enhancement lines will have to be re-worked ( as the double-scimmy is a traditional Valenar weapon)

My guess is that they got a little inspired by the NWN inclusion of such weapons and never did actually do more than stick those entries in. In any event, it's another example of the right hand not knowing what the left foot is doing.

and i joined at the beginning of feb

also, they put stuff into the compendium to test it, it doesnt mean it will find its way into the actual game
