Introduction:
My third official build is now here :) This time I was inspired by a build that a friend of mine has that is based on the BigFnStick build. His build is a WF 13 Rogue/6 Fighter/1 Monk and has played together with my Khierra (The Dominator which I have reincarnated to 12 Monk / 7 Rogue / 1 Fighter). His build has performed very well and sure can count as a DPS build. He and I was most often the ones that stayed in top of the kill counts. Now I must admit that I have become a little addicted to the healing amplification and Healing Ki combo. So I thought I should combine this into a more selfsustained build which still has great dps, which I think is the tradeoff for many of the other healing amplification builds that are out there.

So here I presentTHE POLEDANCER Human 13 Rogue/4 Fighter/3 Monk
I should mention that this build is a TR 34 point build but is easy transformed into a 32 point build.

Key Benefits and Disadvantages
+ Improved Evasion
+ Crippling Strike + Radiance II combo for extremely effective killing (can be read more in the BigFnStick thread
+ Very high healing amplification
+ Continious heals during fights through fist of light and healing ki
+ Glancing Blows
+ High AC
+ High HP
+ Good saves
+ High intimidation
+ Full UMD, Search, Disable Device and Spot

- As usual with my builds it requires some grinding to get to the full potential

Starting Ability Scores (34 point build):
STR: 16
DEX: 15
CON: 15 (14 if 32 point build)

Since you didn't list feats or leveling order, I'm guessing this is still a work in progress. Still, some questions:

What does ftr 4 / monk 3 have going for it over monk 7? More specifically, are extra HPs, two extra feats, and whatever ftr enhs you plan to take better than Wind Stance II, monk PrE, +10% healing amp, and Wholeness of Body?
Is DEX just for the AC & boost to staff SA dmg? Just seems odd to start with DEX 15 on a THF build.

funny that i should see this post cause ive been trying to come up with a acro build. this is actually one of a few ive been trying. mine is a little different as i went wf. i was originally thinking of pretty much dumping wis to max out str but its an awful lot of points for +1 hit and dmg. anyways here is my build.

Hey unbongwah!

Yes I am not yet done.. of course I have the feats and leveling order done.. just have not had time to put them into the build here. Will try to do it later today.

Well in my case I choose fighter over monk for several reasons. I wanted more feats to be able to boost my HP a bit more (toughness), 4 lvls of fighter gives first step of weapon specialization, 2 fighter toughness enhancements. Since I am going the healing amp route then I will be in sun stance almost 100% of the time which doesn't make the sun stance II that much better :( Also since in the end you are most often hasted 100% of time then windstance II would only yield 2,5% extra double hit chance. Yes I loose 10% healing amp which is the only thing consider being on the plus side of going 7 monk.

Regarding Wholeness of body.. I love it!! BUT only when I am going more monk lvls. I have several builds including monks.. a Monkster build (7 lvls monks) and Khierra (12 lvls of monks) and Khierra was lvl 20 monk before TR. The only time I have found the Wholeness of body being really good was when I was a pure monk. I simply think it heal a bit to little. Also keep in mind that we will have access to healing ki, fist of light and in worst case heal scrolls too which can be used in the fights whereas the Wholeness of Body cannot. Might be more of a personal preference but 64 HP, +2 damage per hit was more tempting :) **Disclaimer** This could change IF the Shintao PrC becomes useful (which it is not today).

Regarding the DEX.. yes you are right the dex here is for the extra AC and also gives 10 extra sneak attack damage per hit.

Thanks for your input.. much appreciated!

Perfect image! Fearsome and intimidating ... just like the build. :) The only thing I doubt about is the dexterity part of that picture *grins*

i was just looking at your idea again. why on earth would you want to take intimidate. you do NOT want agro so it would be better to take diplomacy to shed the agro so you get sneak attack damage

That's totally up to the person that plays it.. I simply wanted it since I love to be able to take aggro from someone when they are in dire need of help. Also the AC of this build is sufficient to be able to tank some of the mean bosses out there under the correct circumstances.

More a matter of what you want your build to do.. Regarding the sneak attack damage.. it won't be a problem against all mobs that are not immune to blindness since the Radiance II staff takes care of that very well ;)

Obviously the rogue skills are the ones that are off importance to the build... the intimidation was bonus.

this is very true and im not one to tell people how to play there toons. i will warn you however that the quarterstaff has a low crit range. even with ic blunt it is only 10% chance to crit. that being said radII only goes of when crit followed by confirmation. just someting to keep in mind.

Yes that's correct.. however it seems not to be of that much problem according to the BigFnStick build. And since you will have pretty fast attack speed it should help out. Still it's totally correct what you are saying though :)

might want to consider taking rog at lvl 20 to maximize skill points.

I choosed not take rogue at lvl 20 for maximising skill points (got the skills I wanted) because I wanted to have Thief-Acrobat II before lvl 20. Going the path I choosed I get it at lvl 17. Again personal preferance. If you favor a few more skills points then go that route. I myself preferred Acrobat II a bit earlier then lvl 20. :)

Sorry for late replies, but I think you fail to see the whole concept of the build. You are loosing some DPS from the other builds that you suggested, however this build is done with the self healing as focus. You will easily be able to heal yourself in the most situations without stopping to fight.
