Dang it Turbine! There's too much XP level 1-14 for my TR!

I am a bit peeved now Turbine. Just TR'd my Ftr to a Rog. Now back to lvl 10. There are just way too many quests in the 1-14 range now. Could you eliminate a few?

I mean, here I am, a VIP player for over four years. I go back and start trying to do every quest on hard once (could you let TR's just open Elite please...). Yes, every quest. Garrison's. The Library. the Catacombs. Graverobber. Mirra's. Caged Trolls. Threnal. Sorrowdusk. Three Barrel Cove. Everything.

There are just way too many quests to run now. I mean come on. The Sentinels. The Maleficent Cabal. The red Fens. Brilliant stuff, but there is just too much to do now. I can't stay at level long enough to get it all done. Not even close.

What's a poor TR to do when they can't complain? That's just unfair and you know it Turbine! Will I be able to say that about 15-20? :eek:

By the way, The Maleficent Cabal (done at level) series is the best pack since the Vale. Hats off the the Dev's who came up with that series!

If they never release another quest that is level 9 or below, it will be too soon.

And to mention its absolutely true. But it seems that Developers just don't listen. Seriously, if you add Epic settings for new quests that does not make this quest both mid-lvl and high-lvl. Can't kill two rabbits with one shoot, you know. But still every new pack aims at low-lvls. (mid-lvls at best) Where are new 14 lvl and above quests? Game lacks high lvl content, and this is while most of the gameplay is at high lvls. Not going to say that is not enough XP for TR, however, but some difference in quests would be just great.

I agree with you on the Carnival chain. Those are some of my favorite quests, especially Partycrashers. I haven't TR'd any characters yet, but just doing Hard/Elite on most of my characters and Elite only when possible as well as sitting on levels as long as possible, I still can't get all the quests done at level. On my newer characters, I still have a nember of lower level quests left to clear up. It's a nice change from launch.

I'm not sure if the comment about level 15+ content is a veiled dig or not, but it should probably be. Someone posted a graph showing quests by level and the huge drop off around level 12. Unfortunately, since introducing TR, the last 3 packs have been levels 7, 5 and 9 with concurrent Epic options. I't's a bit dissappointing to see so much mid level content added when there's already so much and higher level quests are lacking. I can see how bad it would get for TRs. I hope you like explorer areas.

Not saying that top quarter does not need love, but just had a hunch that the Project Manager might perhaps have been given a chart with the distribution of levels amongst all accounts. Said chart could well accompany a report detailing content distribution by % of characters at that level, sales forecasts, and directives for where to focus the staff.

I have no knowledge of this it is just a hunch based upon having been in similar situation where MBAs point to full color glossy graphs and charts and the paperwork sort of instructs what to address in the following quarter.

My point is that I doubt "But it seems that Developers just don't listen." is the issue.

So, if this hunch is correct, then I would thinkthe solution is to have as many accounts as possible with average level in the range you want attention.

I had the same problem on my TR who is currently 60k from 15. I didn't even get to run a dragon raid never mind flag for one. There is a ton of content out there for those levels but once you hit 15 or 16 you are really limited to Vale, Necro 4, IQ, the Twelve and some Gianthold.

If you look at every other range of levels there is a ton more and they require a lot less xp per level.

I wont have any complaints when they give me some options on how to deal with the million xp needed for me to get from 18->20

Solution? Turn one of the lower level packs into a level 15+ pack. Or do it like Devil's Assault. 6 on Norm, 12 on Hard, 18 on Elite.

Never in elevendy billion years did I ever think that I would log onto any MMO forum for any game by any company and hear any player complain about having too much content or too much xp.

Now I second the motion to put out some more content for levels 15 - 20.

Nobody is forcing you to level just because you hit an XP milestone. You're saying that you're levelling too fast because there is too much content at lower levels but it's you that levels whenever you want to. You're not making much sense, just hold off on levelling for as long as you please and finish every quest at the appropriate level.

I agree with others though...some more high level content would be nice.

Well that content manager guy needs to consider all those ppl who capped out and got bored with the few choices left at that point..

epic grind.
run the very few raids every 3 days...
run the one high lvl area for loot.
tr and work hard on xp from 16-20 again. exponentially harder for each tr.
start up a new character and do the same few quests from 16-20 AGAIN..

or get bored and wander away / find a new game.... letting subscription lapse.



Lookin back over all the ppl i DON'T see anymore... that last option is the most popular by far.

Yeah, it's really sad that they can't make the game diverse enough that people could live their entire lives in here....although many still try hard enough with what we get for content now.

It's a game....relax and enjoy it for what it is. Play it hard and then do something that's actually rewarding in life..like work, get married, raise a kid, start a band!
