Sorc/Wiz Question

Howdy folks,
Sorry if this has been asked before. I did a search and didn't find anything. My question is kind of simple:

If I build a Wiz with one level being Sorc, will my Wiz get the double spell points that Sorcs get from most SP increasing items?

I dont really know, but you may be on to something.

you get extra sp based on your sorc levels

so a lvl20 sorc gets 100% bonus sp, a 10/10 split gets 50% extra sp and a 19/1sorc gets 5% extra sp

a 19/1sorc gets 5% extra sp


To put this in more perspective, the most base SP from items is 350 (Archmagi + Shroud t2 + Shroud t3).

5% of that is 17.5

You give up ~11sp by merely not going to level 20 pure Wizard, and lose out on the +2 Int capstone, which by itself is worth another 29 or so SP.

Not to mention everything else you miss out on.
