Damage Reduction Confusion

I have a character with the following damage reduction:

1/-
3/-
3/Slash, Bludgeon

I am confused about how much is damage is blocked and how it is worked out.

If I am hit with an arrow, how much damage is blocked? (1, 3, 6, 7, or ??) and why?

How about a sword (slashing damage)?

3 will be blocked cause DR doesnt stack and your highest is 3/- which cant be overcome by anything

if you only would have 1/- and 3/Slash, Bludgeon, then from the arrow still 3 would be blocked as its piercing damage.
if you get hit with slashing or bludgeon damage, then 1 will be blocked as those damage types overcome your 3/Slash, Bludgeon

What Visty said. Going to further comment though, that stoneskin gives DR 10/adamantine and that your blocking DR stacks with all the the passives. Passive DR does not stack with each other in any case, and your blocking DR is added to that while actively blocking only. (You can find your blocking DR in your inventory panel)

What about DR inherent to some clases (monk, FvS IIRC), does that stack at all with gear?

Inherent DR is treated as passive DR so it does not stack with any gear except a shield, which contributes blocking DR.

Only WF FvS Adam DR stacks, and only with the Feats and Enhancements associated with Adam DR.
