At lunchtime today (east coast of Australia) I checked out the forums and saw http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=269335 advertising "Today Only! 50% off all XP Boosts!".
I noticed it was posted at 1:29pm on 8-18, so I thought I'd be safe buying some pots when I got home.
I log on at 6:25pm local time (8:25am GMT), and the pots aren't on sale.
So...assuming that the offer expired at midnight Turbine time, "one day" meant "considerably less than a day".
Could we maybe get a) a bit more warning of one day sales or b) sales that last 24 hours?
Cheers

I suspect the sales run midnight-midnight Eastern Time. Undortunatly I think turbine posts its updates at the start of teh working day, thereby skipping the first 8+hrs of the offer.
I'm in the UK and usually see the weekely sales in the store hours before ddo.com has a post about them. I find this annoying on a week long sale, but on the 24 hour ones it realy favours the US players. And obviously makes it nigh on impossible for those in the eastern hemasphire to take advantage of the sale.
A simple solution would be 24hrs notice of 24hr sales.

The announcement for the sale was sitting on this page: http://www.ddo.com/ddostore/ for a good 12 hours or so before they decided to link it on the forums.
I know because I bought the pots on sale after I accidentally came across it yesterday and I bought some pots on sale at about 5pm or so QLD time yesterday.
I guess they really want people to follow the store on twitter otherwise you wont see sales announced until its too late.

Yeah...it appears that the post went onto the forums around 11:30pm (my time). The wife and I logged off at 10:00pm, and I was hanging around the forums for a while after that. I just wasn't on that late. :(
24 hours notice would be great...I agree.

Hmmm...I usually get e-mails on all of the store stuff (new items, sales, etc), so I never go to that page unless I click through a link in the e-mail or check the forums.
Guess I better bookmark that one too...thanks! :)

ya but then they would have to be called 'today only, and part of tomorrow' sales.
I was surprised (unless I missed it) that you could not fill up TP and use the store from the website.
