So...without going the needed miles - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law

degrading a community with vernacular controls is ridiculous and tantamount at best to bias against an expression? which is silly...there will be new ones...at worst http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bipolar_disorder were unregulated power degrades to "Im anxious/sad because I have to much/little serotonin today...and feel like attacking a culture!"

a good model would be penny arcade forums which allows for the come back "silly goose". This can be used to directly insult another poster as opposed to

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=hi+welcome - which was used too many times poorly, was moderately amusing and only loosely connected to insulting dialogue.

or maybe instead of a broad sweeping attack on people...which is just odd and really poor form...try targeting blatant attacks or spam...

again I reference Godwin Law in how I feel about this...of course its your forum...not ours as you have so clearly indicated with this very poor decision.
