Failed Bluffs

I'm sure we've all gone through this before, whether it be from a different MMO or coming from this game. I'm not talking about the bluff skill; no, I'm talking about actual player bluffs which just fails to provoke others. Here are a few examples from my experience:


Mr. NewButBetterThanYou : "Shut up! I have a level 99 Fighter. I know what I'm doing!"

Mr. StrongestInTheImaginaryWorld : "I five manned ToD, all of us at level 16-18, with 3WF and 2 Casters." "You just have to fight the Judge on the top platform and you'll never have to deal with the fire ele's, duh." "Who needs a Cleric/FvS when you have 800 HP?"

Mr. HumanMeleeWizardWith2Swords : "I have 400 HP and I can heal myself because I'm a Pale Master. I'm only dying because you're not healing me."

Ms. ImAWellKnownPiker : ((Party Ad: Epic Partycrashers, No Noobs. Starting Quick))

Mr. Lv17HighHPTank : "What do you mean I can't tank? I have almost 500 HP!" *MyDDO: 0% Fortification*

Mr. IDieFromTrapsAllTheTime : "I have like seven level 20 toons and four TRs. I have 60 STR unbuffed." *MyDDO shows 34*

Mr. IThinkImTheBest : "Dude, I already finished the Slayers out here (in Vale)." "Dude, kill everything!"

Mr. Yar-Yar : "I'll kill you all! Argh..." *dies*

'Dude, I got completionist years ago' <---- Yeah right.

'I've been playing this game for 5 years now, don't tell me how to build my characters' <----How? Before the game was made?

'Yes I know the quest, I've done it a million times now' <----Funny since he doesn't know where all the traps are.

'I have good DPS' <----Lowest kill count.

I had a 3wizard/3cleric/2sorc try to convince me that he had the best build ever because he had double SP and could cast any spell in the game.

Me: Hey, I am a 9th lvl tank...may I get in?
Awesomesauce: Um..you a 7th level pally with 2 levels of fighter...not really a tank.
Me: Oh, yeah sorry..this is a pre made build following the non-custom path from Turbine character paths.
Awesomesauce: Yeah, I know...I have seen all of those paths and they are all lame. You should re-roll.
Me: Thanks, I appreciate your guidance. Will re-roll now.

That's a serious problem, there is absolutely no way to know when it was updated.

So maybe my bard is wearing his Haggle helm instead of minos, zomgnoob!

Using MyDDO to "assess the talent" is often a fail itself. My most recent character was two weeks and 8 levels in before MyDDO even recognized that he existed.

It's players like these that are the reason I make sure I can solo a quest before I go and do it with a party.

Today I had the MrVetzerggogogodiediedie......I am a TR I will zerg ahead and clear it for you and I don't need no help from you newbs!! BOOM dead zerger...Dam newbs why didn't you come heal me!!

Also had the 2 barbarian\2cleric\2Sor tells us he knew all about builds

then I had Mr. Trap go boom paste in LFG....need rouge for traps. I as a rogue joined party only to realize he would run ahead and find the traps for me by setting them off.....then it came to me....he didn't want a rogue he really wanted makeup so that he would look good dying
