Wizard Gear Question?

Hey everyone.

I've got a level 18 Warforged Wizard atm. I play on Ghallanda.

I've been playing probably 3-4 months now and I've reached the point where alot of your power and skills seem to be based on your gear. I've got a load of ingredients for Green steel, but I'm not sure what to make.

I would like to know what the best gear is for my class / level and where to get it, money and time isn't a problem I'd just like a few tips on what to do and how to do it. If anyone has anything that'd help me out.. it'd be much appreciated. :)

EDIT: I'm not JUST looking for Greensteel tips, anything else that's decent would also be excellent. Forgot to mention that. :p

Non epic, not to much grinding gear for wizard.

Goggles Gs spell point(con-op) if you chose

Trinket noxious embers(abbott)

Cloak stormreavers napkin(reaver)

Ring tod ring +3 excp int

Glovers/bracers glacial assault set(VoD)

Neck Torc(demon queen)

Weapon Staff of the Petioner(abbott)

As for gs weps, there are a couple ways you can go.

I run with my first Wizard through the Reavers Refuge and finished my Dragontouched Robe with lvl 15. Yes I had to wait one level before being able to wear it but I was lucky on the Runes to get a very nice outfit that additional give me:
* Resistance +5
* Spell Penetration VIII
* Arcane Sigil

Ok, the Arcane Sigil is not really something I need on a fleshy, but except of that it is a very nice outfit for level 16.
Tip, to avoid messing up an Dragontouched Armour (e.g. getting incite as a Caster) craft two of them, it is really not the big deal.

Additionally to this I got the 'Ring of Elemental Essence' from the Phiarlan Carnival which is really easy to get and give:
* Glaciation III
* Combustion III
* Magnetism III
* Power III

The Spell Storing Ring from the Sands took me longer to get but another nice item to have.

Last but not least a Minos Helm from the Necro is another important item to get and as a Wiz/Sorc the Orchard is so easy to run with Firewall.

I know that other items may give you way more then e.g. the Ring mentioned above, but not everybody has a bank full of 20 level characters and things like a Torc and GS items may be nice, but they take far more runs and effort to get them.

You may want to check out the wizards handbook (http://forums.ddo.com/showpost.php?p=1279897&postcount=6) page on gear. The sorc (http://forums.ddo.com/showpost.php?p=2097566&postcount=5) equivalent may also be useful. If you don't know where something comes from, the Static Loot thread (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=249178") is a great resource.

Thanks for the quick replys everyone. I've started looking into a few of those items in the link above this post, quite handy.

I've also gathered enough ingredients for my first greensteel. (I've capped my Vale slayers and rares) got all the stones and flagged for shroud.

I know theres heaps of options, I've been recommended alot of different things, someone showed me a link to a GS crafting site,

But I've also heard theres like.. sets? So if you combine stuff in a certain order you get a special named item? If anyone could tell me what would be good for my wizard, that'd be great. I was thinking of crafting a Cloak, as that's probably my least useful item atm. It's +3 Protection and +17 Spell resistance.

But anything else would be awesome.. as it's my first greensteel I need step by step of how to do it lol..
