I tried asking about this in game on /Advice but people were...... not kind or helpful :\ so I'm going to try here instead..
I'm trying to learn WizKing on my Wizard.... I've done it before in groups. but I figured it was time for me to try to figure it out on my own, solo. And well, my problem is that I can't figure out how to get to the last part that I need to complete it. I've been able to get to each of the two the other optionals (Hafez and Hami) but I can't seem to figure out the right path to climb up to where the Wizard King himself is. And the map is not useful at all because things are right on top of each other, so even though I can see where the incomplete stuff is (at the top) I can't seem to get there. I've cleared everything out and have gone around and around, but obviously I am missing something. I am hoping that someone can take pity on me, and tell me what to look for....
thanks

basically what you are doing in here clearing 3 paths. the first two paths are if you go right from the main room. Without a map to point out there when you go right you can go straight or turn left. that is two paths. if you go left you basically only have one way to go which doesnt run over what you are doing before. as you do the quest you will have the floor remain stable on one path, partially crumble on another, and completly crumble on the third.
i know this sounds confusing, but its late and i dont have a map to show the turns. hope it helped a little bit

There are three paths up that you can take, this map (http://yfrog.com/06wizkingpngp) show where you can find these. Sometimes a floor will fall out and you have to take the alternate path.

Thanks very much for taking the time to reply. I finally had a breakthrough once I noticed an amazingly well-camouflaged lever, which opened up an unknown path (it was the go right and then straight path). I am too ashamed to tell how long I spent going up and down and back and forth through that tomb. The quest itself isn't hard, but it is very tedious if you don't know where to go and if you keep falling down -- and obviously after being rushed through there in groups, I had no idea where to go :)
so thanks again

Glad you found your way! One thing you may know and have forgotten or simply didn't mention, but if you get lost anytime, its always useful to go back over your path hitting [BACKSPACE]. This highlights items that are not combat-related and are interactable in your focus orb. I don't think I ever would have made it out of Necropolis I if it weren't for that (finding the runes).
Note, its directional...so if its over your head or something you'll need to tap backspace while looking that direction. It has a goodly range, even through walls on most occasions.
