Convince me. I want to level another character to 20. So far I have 2 easy mode characters, a WF Sorc and a Halfling monk. I'd like to have another shroud character... so I'm debating on what's actually fun to play.
So what character do you enjoy logging on with the most?

Another easymode character that will always have a spot in a shroud would be a Battle Cleric or melee FvS. You'll get in just because of your icon and could easily solo heal a Shroud at 20.

Gemstone is the toon I enjoy playing the most, but I don't recommend building him to get into Shrouds, unless you have a lot of friends.
He's the toon that I would want to bring if the party was weak, but those are the ones that ignore/decline him. Go figure...

I have the 1/2ling lt. monk that I love, a dorf twf ftr and a dorf thf barb that are also capped. To be truthful the barb is a lot of fun to play. I would recommend running one to anybody. They don't have to have awesome gear and will do ok. With the awesome gear, the smackdown is intense. THF is nice, since it halves the number of GS weapons you need. :)

To do something different... I'm having a lot of fun with a elf monk/ranger/fighter (will be 12/6/2 at 20) who is an arcane archer (I switch between manyshot and handwraps).
BUT... I had never played a monk or an arcane archer before, so I'm enjoying two new types of play...
You already have a monk, so you might not enjoy that...
My second favorite character is a monster build... halfling 12/6/2 fighter/ranger/monk with the healing dragonmarks... You might enjoy that. Max out hide and move silently while taking the ranger and monk levels.
You'll have very good Kensai II DPS with favored enemies, Power Surge and Ram's might, Haste Boost and Sprint Boot, you'll able to range decently with manyshot, you'll be able to heal with the dragonmarks (Ranger Devotion II, A Superior Potency/Devotion VI item, and this build has enough feats to get Maximize too), and you can play around with sneaking which can be fun.

I'm having a lot of fun with my STR-based, THF Human Battle Cleric, esp. with the Rad. Servant Aura. I don't expect to get into many Shrouds when ppl see the fighter levels, though. :(

This monk11/wiz8 (http://my.ddo.com/character/sarlona/oriental/)
Very strong defensively, able to Vorpal or stun with the best of 'em, and has even been able to step in as the hastebot/displacer in emergencies.
Tons of fun. Much more effective than you would expect (or at least once more effective than I would have expected).
DPS is not the main point. She holds her own generally, but less so against some targets. On the other hand, against targets that match her handwraps she fills the screen with damage numbers.
In three more ranks she gets Abundant Step and the fun only gets better :)

I really enjoy my mutt. 12 Fighter/6 Paladin/2 Monk. Great saves, pretty good DPS, UMD (could be better if went rogue instead of monk), intimidate and overall nice guy.

I'm currently leveling a barbarian/fighter/rogue two-handed specialist and loving it. Right now he's 6/1/2, going for 14/5/1 at 20. Max ranks in UMD, spot, search, open locks, disable device, near max in intimidate. So far, DPS is impressive and utility is great with the rogue abilities. In a pinch, I can throw on heavy armor and tank if needed. Good solo ability (with a hireling or wands for healing) and all-in-all a fun time.

Well, personally, I am a more melee-oriented player, but I must say that I am thoroughly enjoying my FvS(built as more of a caster/healer build), and am trying out more of a battle-caster with my WF 2HF FvS.
My favorite, though, is definitely my Dwarven exploiter, Thongo. I just love how he can do a little bit of everything, including literally any traps he has tried so far. (including VoD on hard, and amrath quests on normal, though no epic yet, since he's still lv18) Only problem I see so far with the exploiter is that it will take a little bit to get him properly geared out so he becomes a true DPS machine with enough AC to handle almost any non-epic mobs. Still fun, though! :D

I have a LOT of toons, but I must say, my funnest is probably my "Dwarven Swashbuckler". His stats are posted..but w/o items or buffs.... under the rogue. He's a 13 Acrobat Barbarian/6 Frenzied Barbarian/1 Fighter.
Lots of HP and DPS with High Intim, UMD and Rogue Skills
The best part is that Acrobat Speed Stacks with Barbarian Speed. So he is the fastest base speed toon in the game. With a Haste, Sprint, and Boosts, nothing beats him into a mob!!! The best Part, is that he has the HP to Survive it.
Mine has a good AC, but he has pretty nice gear. However normally, this toon won't.
DPS is fantastic with dual wielding Dwarven Axes (Min II and Rad II), sneak damage (you almost guaranteed kill count if you play as a rogue and don't zerg) and Dwarven Axe Damage.
I almost always play in groups and don't solo, so I don't have to worry about healing, but its nice to be able to heal and rez when needed (have to dismiss rage, if raged).
With GS Neg, Neg, Neg item, he is immune to almost everything in the game...
He's Fun!!

I have a lot of fun playing my dorf Warchanter bard. He's lvl 20 pure bard so he's got good UMD, the bard capstone etc but by making him dwarf he's got decent HP and can wade in with GS greataxe and smack stuff around.
I think the reason I like him so much is that I ended up being last man standing on a pug shroud about a year ago...spent like 2-3 minutes jousting with Harry while tossing heal scrolls. It was great. (Edit: Yes, ended up killing Harry and rezzing the group so some could DDoor out.)
I put concordant opp on a HP item later and have the +++ mana goggles (447HP, 1115Mana according to MyDDO). Since I wade in and smack stuff around with his axe, I get a decent amount of mana back from the conc opp.
AoE spells hurt a bit but he's got all 4 tiers of Wand and Scroll mastery. Between Fire Shield and Heal scrolls he can survive or keep people up pretty nicely in most situations.

For me, the most fun I've had playing has been with Spellmann. He's currently a halfling 18 wiz/2 rogue. He's got full healing dragonmarks and maxed out trapskills. He's done a couple of Shrouds, but was recently informed that he's too gimp to do Epic ADQ because he's got fewer than 300 hitpoints. Had to chose between Toughness and Insightful Reflexes and have to say I'm glad I took Insightful Reflexes.

Pure WF Barb swinging greataxes, 500+ crits on 19 and 20's just make you smile!
or
18/2 WF Wiz/Rog. You can do everything. Yep. Everything.

I really enjoy Seablade, my Paladin 15/Monk 3/Fighter 2 healing amplification skirmish fighter.
He has good DPS with Exalted Smite 3 and high strength, TWF, Pally buffs etc... Each hit in combat gives me 3-7 hp and a cure serious self heals for 300+. You can make it in different flavors for tanking, DPS, or survivability. Super flexible use of gear so you always have lots of combat options.
There is lots of gear to collect (at various levels of play) and the character develops in a nice steady progression.

My favorite is my dex based pure rogue assassin (http://my.ddo.com/character/sarlona/fangora/). You will absolutely trip on the dps this toon can achieve, and I'm only at lvl 18 (5d6 more sneak coming). The assassin line gives many unique benefits and rogue in general is quite a survivable and flexible class. It takes a little patience and really comes together after you get a radiance rapier but I can tell you its the most fun I've had in this game.

Most fun right now is probably either the arcane archer who is almost level 38 14 wiz 2 rgr 2 rog or my halfling monk.
The monk is 8mnk, 5wiz, 1 rog. There's something that doesn't get old for me about a squeaky 50lb halfling stunning giants. She can get traps and locks and is expanding her SA with ninja and halfling enhancements.

WF Sorc, you already have one though so a WF or human FvS might be good for you, personally I like big numbers so I find max DPS the most fun to play.

18/1/1 "Exploiter" ranger. Very gear-intensive but a heck of a lot of fun. Built and equipped right you can do well in anything, from killing mobs well in epic to soloing Amrath quests.
My 18/2 Clonk was an absolute blast to level-up. Come end-game all I use him for is healing guild-raids, but you'll NEVER have a problem doing any quest/raid you want to do when you want to do it.

Love playing my spellsinger haggle bard, followed the Mississippi Queen (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=168293) build.
Can heal most quests if needed, great CC and passable melee. At end-game, every raid can use a bard for buffs/backup heal. Not a lot of bards around, so easy to find a group.

squishy and not optimized my quarterstaff acrobat is by far my most fun-to-play toon.
Funny for not being min/maxed she still seems to hit like a truck even with her gimp weapon. Plus doing traps and chests are fun.
in fact I think it is the squish and everything that makes her non min/maxed is the most fun. Give me flips that look great but don't do anything, give me a fast spinning quarterstaff that does half the damage as a pair of rapiers or even less than the crutches... uh I mean kopeshes that everyone else uses.

I enjoy monks the most, but since you already have one, I enjoy my bard with 2 levels of fighter the second most.

My dragonmarked halfling AcroMonk is just about the most fun I've had on any build. :)

I love playing my level 20 FVS with Heavy repeater feat...... drop a blade pull them to me.... also good support with para and icy burst w/p. I can sit back get kills and keep everyone alive without breaking a sweat. and can pull out a longsword if I feel like swinging at something.

My Warchanter.
Human 16 Bard/4 Bighter. Will be TRing to a 16 Bard/2 Fighter/2 Rogue...want that extra XP from traps and don't want to wait for a rogue.
Buffage like Haste, Bard Songs, Haste, Freedom of Movement, Haste, Rage, Haste, Displacement, Haste, Blur, Haste, Greater Heroism, Haste. Did I mention Haste? I don't have to wait for someone to cast haste because I have haste.
Can UMD anything that allows a UMD check. Heal scrolls instead of using pots. If I wanted I could amplify my healing spells but heal scrolls are better.
Right now the only thing lacking is any ability to disable traps. Other than that, very self sufficient.
Raids welcome a bard if they don't already have one.
You could also roll a healing class but you need to be able to heal if you sign on those raids in the healer role. Seems that raid groups are constantly waiting for a couple of healers.

My dragonmarked halfling AcroMonk is just about the most fun I've had on any build. :)
Not only does he have fun playing it... It's also fun to WATCH him play it. Nothing like that little dude buzzing all over the place.

Have to throw in my vote for the Rog/Wiz also, even if I haven't quite hit 20 yet. If you don't take a full DMark line, you won't have the Toughness problem. Even the first two Dmarks with Empower and Maximize are seriously nice healing for your hp level and I can keep up with almost any rogue (mechanics being the exception because of prestige bonus). Stand and laugh as enemies throw reflexsave spells at you repeatedly, learn the joys of casting from the center of flamestrikes while the party scatters in terror. :)
(*cough*...just watch out for those darn enfeeblers, they are the BANE of my existence...)
