This raid is, IMO, much more exciting on Hard than on Normal.
With that in mind, please either add the Suulomades chest back in to Hard and Elite Tower, or alternately tell us that the chest not spawning is working as intended because on Hard and Elite something else needs to be done to spawn it.

Also, at some point down the road, could the devs please consider rescripting the part 2 fight, so it is less of a one-man show? It went from being stupidly annoying, as even a little bit of lag could ruin an otherwise perfectly executed run, to being stupidly easy, as with no lag even a fairly green kiter can get the job done. In either case, everyone else basically turns on auto-attack and swings for the fences for 2-4 minutes.
Not the most interesting encounter.
I believe either A_D or Borro have suggested lowering the damage on the shadows and either tying their aggro to the pit fiend, or having some other link requiring the shadows to be dealt with a little at a time in addition to dealing with the boss.

Yep... I'm thinking if any thread will get a dev response on the issue, it will be this one (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=266258). I, for one, am anxiously awaiting any leads in that thread (and/or the opportunity to do some exploring of my own) or a dev response anywhere.

Perhpas an optional rewarding a second chest (high drop rate of Large Ingredients) if you kill four or more Shadowfiends could spice it up too.

That would be cool, but I think the fiends would need to be adjusted somewhat, so that they are able to be dealt with realistically. As it currently, they are almost impossible to melee, can't be kited back and forth through firewalls due to the radius of their aura, and don't seem to go down to something like a full volley of manyshot, pretty much making such a challenge nigh-impossible, although, it's been a long time since I was in a group that tried doing anything besides kiting them, so I could be wrong about how much HP they have.

...you guys don't bother getting the Mistress of Pain (http://compendium.ddo.com/wiki/Quest:Tower_of_Despair) optional chest?

They can be dealt with - and massacred - by a well-prepared party.
I kited in ToD hard last night and survived six aura hits without having time to throw a Heal on myself in between. High HP, UMD'ed Fire Shield and a Risia icy games 'turn blue' potion (these potions can't be obtained now, but Shroud cold absorb items can and are more effective than the potion). A similarly setup arcane can hold them in a firewall.
Once I have all the Shroud gear I need, I might look into making a 45 cold resist and a 10/15/20 cold absorb item, and see if I can tank (not kite) the whole pack of Fiends.

I've been searching for that (if it exists). I have one more idea as to where it might be - but need to assemble a top-notch group to look for it.

That sounds pretty sweet.

Killing Nytharios prior to killing the Judge and Jailer (yes, it can be done). Maybe Horoth as well.
Arraetrikos has been designed to give you the password even before you pull the lever to free him, allowing access to part 2 early - there must be some reason for this.

Would that be accomplished by going back to the Judge/Jailer fight after Nytharios, or by leaving behind a team in the first fight while everyone else progresses?
In any case, at the moment I can bring my WF barbarian, halfling monk (AC and darkside), my wizard (not WF) or my Assassin.
Ferrumrym would probably be ideally suited for this sort of run when he gets fully leveled again, as he'll have some serious self-healing and decent mana regen with Torc and Conc. Opp. on top of excellent AC and pretty good DPS, but he's only lvl 6 at the moment.
If any of these would be helpful, I'd really like to come along on one of the experimental runs.
