Best deal ever on Auction House?

Man sometimes all that monotonous searching of the auction house pays off. Last night I picked up a feather fall ring of shocking grasp for only 2k plat. I was truly amazed, the seller was either really nice or was pricing it based off clickie feather falling item prices, but this one has the permanent effect.

Anyone else have any great finds for cheap on the AH?

Best I ever got was right after the gold/plat change. Scanning for deals, picked up a planar grid for 2000pp. I think someone missed a few 0's in there...and I had to double check that I saw it correctly.... :)

Every single thing I bought on the AH, at the time I preferred the item to the money. In almost all cases, I would have paid more than I did to get it. AH = under priced.

A dusk heart....I forget the price, but it was only a few thousand plat. What was funny was there were several other dusk hearts on there, all with buyouts of the exact same price, the one I got was the exact same price as well, but minus a zero. ;-)

I should probably pay more attention when I'm browsing the AH for larges, because I usually just stay at the bottom of every page, assuming all the good larges are down at the bottom. I'm gonna have to start scrolling up now to see if anybody messed up their listing. :-)

Best I ever find is by looking for high-level weapons that are of weak base weapon types (eg Greatclub). Sometimes I find some really solid greater banes there, like a Beholder-killing +5 holy greatclub of greater abberation bane that I used for a while (paid 14k PP, resold it for 500k PP i think).

I once sold a +2 int tome for 12.5k plat on the ah.

It was gone in under 5 mins.

Always double check your tomes when you post them to the AH, I had a bag full of +1's and the +2 was mixed in with them.

best deal so far was a +1 holy great axe (wow uber huh?) but I got it for the Barb I run with in my static take a wild guess? less than the GP price listed on the item (was gold standard at the time) 2,500 GOLD starting, I did the buy out for 3,500 GOLD.

Bah it is not always a mistake when you get a good deal from the AH I have a tendency to see what a broker will buy an item for post it for 72 hrs with a start bid around what the vendor offers and a buyout about double that.
The stuff sells fast usually and even a low level player can pick up stuff for less than the vendors/brokers will sell it to them for and i get cash faster. Maybe not as much all at once but over several days i do alright and it's not like there is a shortage of stuff i don't want/can't use.
It makes the game more fun when you have to grind less for cash for the shineys.
