changing Worlds

Has anyone thought about this.

When changing worlds to play other characters, one must first log out then back in to access their choice of worlds.

In other games, on-line and direct PC games I can access my choice of worlds, ports, or servers without having to log out.

Can the Tech team not add a patch or something to make it easier for the players, or would that require rewriting the game as a whole.

I enjoy playing very much but do find this process a bit much.

The way it is now the 'launcher' is a program that is separate from the 'ddoclient'.
When you logout you are still on ddoclient, and to change world you still need to go through the launcher again.
Now that the download manager is rolled into the launcher may be int he future the launcher could be rolled into the client?

Note that world change or not you still need to close the ddo client every now and then to avoid it getting slow.
Specially when changing toons lots of times, but hopefully this might be fixed in the future.
