This is my first time bringing up a pure Fighter. What are the recommended Greensteel options for a Cloak on a warforged Kensai fighter? I'm torn what to make. I don't have any greensteel items as of yet.
I'm level 17 now. I don't plan on TRing this toon. I want to plan out for epic quests.
Thanks for your suggestions.

I'd make a Min2 +45HP Cloak. 2 stone skin clickies, +5 Prot and Heavy Fort. If you are planning for Epic, you can put the +20 HP Toughness property on a lot of other items which will make the ML helm obsolete.

That sounds like a good idea. I also have the mindsunder docent upgraded. I also eventually want to get the epic dragon helm.

In my opinion, MinII on a WF Fighter isn't the best idea.
Prot +5 doesn't benefit you, AC is ****
Heavy Fort - means that you intend to take of Minos which is a loss of 20hp.
Stoneskin - available on a 2nd tier item. save your larges.
MinII is a great slot consolidator on AC toons, and casters... though I don't think it's worth it on a fighter.
Read my thread End-game Equips for WF Fighter (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=259462)
I finally made an earthgrab cloak for my wf fighter. +45 hp, Summon earth ellie (it's fun more then practical) and earthgrab guard. Probly the cheapest GS, and grab goes off a few times per quest.
(overall damage to held enemies will easily exceed that of any damage dealing guard effect per quest)

I went with a radiance guard +45hp cloak n my fighter. tharnes goggles and a rogue splash means more DPS when they blind, plus it functions like a normal DPS guard, and it lowers their hitroll as they are blinded. thought long and hard on air guard and earthgrab, both are solid choices and cheap on ings.

Chasing around blind enemies isn't much fun, not a guard I would put on a item, way to costly for too little advantage. Earthgrab guard is cheaper and more effective IMO. If you're going to dual shard an item then Corrosive Salt or Lightening Strike may be better alternatives.

I guess for now I'll make the earth guard Cloak. Its cheap though its a waste to have the +6 to con skills on a pure fighter.
I do have air guard on another toon and it doesn't seem to go off very often. +6 to dex skills is nice. I could always make a 2 tier haste clicky.

What exceptional skills would you want on a fighter :P
Haggle? UMD? Balance?

meh. In my opinion you shouldn't worry about exceptional skills. Unless you're only running quests that contain high level dogs, I doubt you'll be able to feel the difference of +6 balance.

The only thing I've seen "knocking" a Min II cloak on a WF Fighter is the loss of Minos' "Toughness" 20 HP. The OP, in his second post, mentions that between the upgraded IQ Docent, or a variety of Epic items, Toughness can be made part of a WF fighter's build in other permanent ways. I'd suggest reconsidering : Minos is a great helm, but its face it - its a ML:11 Item. Eventually, something should be found that can replace this.
Also, Shroud accessories are also ML : 11, but obviously a bit more powered. If you plan on ever TRing this toon, its quite a boon to have all that extra HP, Heavy Fort, and Prot +5 at level 11 - even THF/TWF toons can find ways to make their armor class acceptably high at that level.
Other than that, any consideration for a Smoke II? Or if you plan on getting hit a lot, maybe Vacuum II would be fun?

If max HP is a consideration lock at a combo of occult slayer belt for con +6 and greater false life, a HP GS cloak with perma blur and minos legen. You keep your heavy fort, add 45 HP from cloak plus 30 for the belt and 20 from helmet. That's 95 HP. Do Epic duskheart and you increase that to 105 HP.
Plus having a perma blur effect is especially nice for soloing. And I agree, unless your AC specked heavy fort and prot +5 is a waste on a low AC toon.
