Haven't done one of these in a while and got some random and unexpected time to kill. Statements here are a general synopsis of the post-Amrath new quest additions.
1. [Already been said] ... but in the interest of full disclosure, one of the biggest problems with these quests, is that they are added for a level of the game where there was already a plethora of quests/XP available - meanwhile once past level 12, the repetition on a TR is absurd.
2. Visual Appearance Whichever Devs work on this aspect of the game, I have to continually give kudos to. The intricacies and new appearances that continue to be added are one of the best aspects of DDO.
3. Quest Storylines Personally I am on the fence. Some of them (Party Crashers) particularly stick out as amusing, while others (Brawnpit) are a bit too cheesy for my personal tastes.
4. Quest Balance This is pretty absurdly out of proportion on several of the new quests. The XP/Minute ratio is drastically lower than so much else of the same level that, once the novelty wears off, what is the point in playing them?
More details as needed. Peace.
