Going by the name you gave this build you will be using unarmed damage. Unarmed attacks benefit from the two-weapon fighting feats, you should look at trying to fit them in if you go that route.

Punchmaster is not sure he likes your tone. Punchmaster will make changes because punchmaster noticed a minor flaw, not because anyone else said anything.

There really isn't that much you get extra from snagging kensii 3 for h2h combat.

If you want to be a punch master your probably better off taking more monk levels, you'll get more h2h damage that way and can qualify for FoD if you want for a nice damage boost (or you can go the light path for some healing and snag lvl 12 fighter).

Honestly 6 fighter levels will give you most of what you really need from fighter. You'll get kensi 1, weapon specialization blunt, +2 strength enhancement, fighter haste boost and 4 bonus feats (-1 for weapon specialization...so 3 really).

Meanwhile that leaves you 14 levels to play around with...which is enough to get 13 monk levels at least (for 23-24 SR automatically) depending if you want to take a level in rogue for skills like UMD etc.

Anyway 6 fighter/13-14 monk is probably a better over all punchmaster damage wise, has better saving throws, gets SR 24 naturally, can either self heal or deal significant bonus damage, has abundant step, moves much faster, has higher natural ac, immunity to poison and desease, wholeness of body for healing between fights and ki strike magic and lawful to hit through DR.

Meanwhile you still gain the bonus from Kensi 1 and weapon specialization.

The other option is to go 12 fighter/8 monk but honestly you lose a ton doing that and just gain Kensi II and greater weapon specialization.

Punchmaster is not sure how much these monk levels would assist in mastering the punching.

Hello Punchmaster,

I think your build is quite fancy.

Meanwhile that leaves you 14 levels to play around with...which is enough to get 13 monk levels at least (for 23-24 SR automatically) depending if you want to take a level in rogue for skills like UMD etc.

This. Having access to the rogue skills would make Punchmaster much more self-reliant. Cuz who needs help from others? Help is for chumps. ;) Does wf mithral/adamantine body mess with the monk stances?

not sure quotation on this forum but: "Honestly 6 fighter levels will give you most of what you really need from fighter. "

I couldnt disagree more. kensei 2 is the performer, it costs 2 AP (not 6 like kensei 1) opens up second kensei unarmed weap spec, as well as the greater weapon spec feat. Thats alot of static bonus damage, as well as a nice longer lasting clickie buff thats a significant DPS boost. kensei 2 or none at all. Kensei 1 is extremely AP intensive for what you get.
