I have a problem with the setup, it says i have to download .net framework 1.1 with service pack 1 so i try to download that and I can't, I have a vista computer and I really want to try out a new game so please reply!!

Are you downloading from microsoft and what kind of message are you getting? can you download it, but you get error on install? If it is on install then you will need to remove it from programs and update list. From the Main uninstall program in settings you will have to hunt for framework 1.1 but also in the top left of your settings panel it will say view installed updates, make sure you click on that and go into it and make sure that any other instances of framework 1.1 or uninstalled in ther before moving forward. also reboot after doing so

update, check if you are using and internet download manager and disable it
