Level 17 Sorc, Nuke specced (for now). What is usually the first Greensteel crafted by Sorcs?
I have Wiz VII helm that gets switched to minos after buffing, but not really any other kind of "end game" gear to speak of. I am in the proccess of collecting mats, and will be looking up my recipe and going from there, but wanted input from other Sorc players as to what they feel should be the first item to craft.

I'd probably go for:
Blindness and Disease Immunity
+2 Cha Skills and +50 SP
+3 Cha Skills and +100 SP
+6 Wisdom (+10 Diplo, +10 Haggle)
Concordant Opposition

Goggles are a good spot, but there's some nice Epic ones that go there too, so depends how you feel about that.

It depends :)
I usually start with a spell point item with charisma skills (to boost UMD for heal scroll use). The stacking spell points and the UMD boost are really nice.
Another very good option is a hp item.
One of the above is nice to make as a concordant opposition item for spell point regen.
Others like to make exceptional charisma weapons (+2 stacking cha). With the existence of ToD rings, I tend to avoid these now--and rely on the ToD rings for the exceptional Cha (up to +3).

+5 Greensteel Sickle (1d8, 20/x2) With +6 Charisma , +1 Charisma (Exceptional) - Haste (3/day), +2 Charisma (Exceptional) - Air Guard (On-Hit, DC 35 Trip or 30-second haste)
I recommend doing goggles first also. Same ones rimble posted. I'm not certain thought if it's cool for wf chars(most don't care about umd) but at least it works for fleshies. Btw, you should get your hands on glacial bracers(VoD) or Amrath belts(Rahkir's Sash or Komor's Belt) for archimagi instead of Wizardy VII helmet. :)

I am of the understanding now that is the equipment spot with the fewest cool endgame options to choose from for a Sorc. Now on to the grinding for mats, thanks again.

The only possible conflict with the goggles slot is Epic Spectacles of Spirit Sight. It's not my first choice for the goggles slot, but until you have a Staff of the Petitioner the double greater focus + aug slot allows for minimal gear swapping.
The other slot I'd consider for greensteel is gloves. The only real conflict is Gloves of the Glacier, and while the Maximize II metamagic is nice, it's certainly not a necessity. All depends how often you raid VoD.
