DDO.com Revised (http://www.lotrointerface.com/downloads/info341-DDO.comRevised.html): Revised Version of Eldrahir's DDO.com Skin (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=247317).
Focus Orb 2 Add-On (http://www.lotrointerface.com/downloads/info342.html) and Focus Orb 1 Reversion Kit (http://www.lotrointerface.com/downloads/info343.html) are now available.
Focus Orb 3 Add-On (http://www.lotrointerface.com/downloads/info345.html) and Focus Orb 4 Add-On (http://www.lotrointerface.com/downloads/info346.html) are now available.
Current Version 3.0
Hello everyone! Seeing as Eldrahir opened his custom UI for creation of new ones, I figured I would work on another version of DDO.com UI, this new variation includes new Health Bars, an updated Focus Orb and Minimap as well as a few Icon Changes, which include changing the rank icons that were red to purple to match the XP bar, setting the rank Icons to fix exactly on the bar, as well as the needed background change so all forms of text are readable(might change in later update).
This UI is to further enhance the visual experience of gameplay, and I will continue to update it as I continue to play, or until the new UI is released in Update 7 or 8.
As per Eldrahir's disclamer, part and all of this UI are available for your use or you can further enhance this UI to fit your own needs.
Thanks to Eldrahir for laying the ground work for me to continue with, and to the DDO team for creation of the original UI packs to work from, and Frosty for having the UI pack available for customization.
Hope everyone enjoys my revision of DDO.com. If anyone of you have anything you wish to see me change or add let me know, I will do my best to fit your needs and I will do my best to continue working on this UI and to create another from scratch now that I am getting more used to editing.
Here are screenshots of what the UI looks like.

Screenshot 2 (http://www.lotrointerface.com/downloads/full1127.jpg)

As with all works in progress I and continuing to work on my UI, to polish it up and make it clean. I am Currently Working on the latest Revision, when finished I will upload it. Here's a preview of whats to come.
Updated: Quest Log/Wilderness Log - No longer has a large Finish/Recall Block, it has been reduced in size and been set slightly behind the window.
Updated: Shortcut Bars - They are repaired, no cracks, plus they have been turned to gold!
Fixed: Examination windows are now scripted to work off the Default Skin settings so now there isn't a blocky cutout in them above the item's picture.
Fixed: The Drag Bar has returned to the Menu Bar and the Minimap, Minimap has be edited to accomidate the return of the Drag bar, the Minimap title's appearance has improved due to this.
New: Changed the Menu Icons, Map, and Mail Icons to UI Default Detection so that they will automatically update with the game's Default UI for consistancy.
Update: Altered the Focus Orb again, this time shaving the small peice on the left side off so that the Orb is a bit smaller and cleaner looking.
Update: The grey background used in the UI has been sharpened to reveal that it is actually a piece of metel. This was done to provide more texture.
These are currently what I have in the works, there might be one ore two more to come with, but still working to figure them out.
Thanks as always!

Thanks, I'm about to get the next update that I have previewed up, just adding the finishing touches and testing it to make sure it works properly. I don't want to put a broken item up.
I let you know when it hits.

Very nice!
Question, will it affect game play at all?
I had a skin several years ago, and it created more lag than normal.

The only lag you will see is when you first turn it on as it loads the UI, after it is fully loaded it works with no lag that I have seen.
The load time should only last for like a second or two.

edit: i have to spread some more around ):
edit2: one thing i just noticed, the bottom part of the focus orb "border" juts into the text of the item you're examining - for example:
http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/286/27271605.jpg
it's worse when it's an item with a long name heh

Are you having an issue reading the name with ring border like that? I left it as the full circle so it would have more appeal, and me personally I don't have an issue reading it, but if you are I can make a patch to help with reading it, but you would lose the bottom part of the ring.

i don't have an issue reading it, it just looks kinda awkward heh
pretty much all of the other skins have the bottom part of the ring removed so i've been used to that
it'd be nice if you could release a separate patch :D

No Problemo,
Also, if I either get enough downloads, or player requests for it, I might go ahead and make the new version of the focus orb standard with the next update, but for now I am going to leave the original as the standard.
My reason for this are thus, I wanted to make the new focus orb a bit different when I first created it, the way I had it gave it a bit of a Looking Glass/Pool kind of feel.
But I am glad you requested it, it gave another option which I had considered from the get go, but passed on originally, and now that it's made it does seem in some ways a bit better feeling to me now, so, like I stated above, if I have enough requests for it, when I do my next update I might make it the standard.

I say leave the original as is, but give people the option to download the alternate focus orb if they prefer that one.
Pretty much as it is right now haha. :)

you'll probably need to create both the ui and skins folder in that directory

Something I would love to see is a change to the frame surrounding the healthbar in the focus orb. Little knobs or spikes for 50%, 25%, and 75%,perhaps even for 10% as well =D

I can try and see what I can do with that, but it might be a bit difficult to calculate. Because the changes will be based on by the pixel, and I am not completely sure where the bars start, end, and what counts when looking. I will see what I can cook up though, it might take me a bit of time.

Focus Orb 3: Focus Orb 1 with Markers for 10, 25, 50, and 75% HP/SP/KI
Focus Orb 4: Focus Orb 2 with Markers for 10, 25, 50, and 75% HP/SP/KI

Great skin TiranBlade, Continuing from the LoTROinterface pages, I was wondering if there was a way to mimic to same coloring for the chat panels, along with the character, inventory, quests panels etc, to match the awesome bars and focus orb. The light brown with glyphs and bronze/gold look great.

I am a bit confused about your solution. Are you saying to physically move where the text is appearing on the focus orb? Just to let you know exact placement of certin aspects of the UI elements are non-movable, i.e. text and the viewing pool on the Focus Orb.
So in relevance of perspective, it isn't possble to move the text down lower, not without being able to have full access to script changing, and Turbine has yet to allow such elements to be done in thier UI's, they only allow for skins to be changed.

Thanks for the complements on the color scheme. On the text boxes I was going to do some editing to help some of the elements "fit" a bit better with some of the icons. I could do an alternate version of the chat menu with those colorations added.
Also I was going to try and shrink the very top of the chat menu so that the top takes up less space when viewing. But I was considering leaving the menu about the same to match some of the DDO.com elements, but if you want I can do a custom pack similar to the way I have done the focus orb.
I will apporch this as I get to it, atm I am catching up on whats going on in game but I will start on the UI again some time during this week.

Hello everyone, sorry haven't been able to get to the updates I promised for this week, had several things going on between a speratic work schedule and a flat tire, amongst other things, I will be trying to get back to working on the UI to get some more of the elements updated.
Also if you have any suggestions of things you would like to change let me know.
BTW, was wondering how many wanted the chat box in gold option? Trying to decide if I am going to make the gold one standard or keep grey standard. Let me know, just reply!
Thanks as always,

I have an update for everyone on the status of the update I was working on.
It seems that some of the elements I was working on have some scripting peices missing. As well as the original elements I was working with not having the right size, this has lead to me not being able to customize the Hireling bar.
It was going to be the major project I was going to have done for all of you but it seems that once you detach the hireling bar, it defaults to the current version. I have no way to change this.
It's similar to the highlight overlay that is done for the shortcut bars, there is not way for me to rescript it, and I have tried to.
For now I will be starting on some of the ascetic changes to the arrows, trying to see if I am going to go for what eldrahir originally went for or just alter them to match the red and gold buttons.
Sorry for keep everyone out of the loop for a while, like I stated before between work and everything else going on, it's been a bit difficult to even log in a play.
Hope to have something new for you all soon,
TiranBlade

I have too many present bugs in DDO to risk getting a new skin job
I'm sorry for this, but your post was both unrelated to my UI and unconstructive.
If you wish to try my UI you can, if you want to read about it you can.
Eberron Chronicle talks about DDO.com Revised (http://my.ddo.com/turbinecommunity/2010/07/30/the-eberron-chronicle-26/)
DDO Daily talks about DDO.com Revised (http://ddo-daily.com/skin-ddo-com-revised)

If you wish to talk about my UI, wish to add advice, or a request, that's fine, but if your going to show disrespect to the game, any player, or anything without even trying it, please either keep it to yourself or take it to another forum thread, I don't want to tell you what to do or show you disrespect, but I didn't think your post was constructive in any way on the topic of this UI.
Sorry and Thanks,
TiranBlade
PS. My UI will not cause any disruption in gameplay, it is fully functional and works with no issues.

That's in part to the file size, sorry about that, I am hopeing to go through and weed out the elements I disabled in scripting, so the download size would be much smaller, but that will take me a bit of time, hoping to have that for the next update.

Hey Everyone, I'm back with some good news, thanks to Backley (Be Sure to check out Backley's UI Info Blue (http://www.lotrointerface.com/downloads/info351-InfoBlue.html)) that I was able to get some of the scripts and UI elements I was missing and I will be doing an even more intesive update.
Coming in Version 3.0
New Menu Bar - Yes, finally have the scripts for a new menu bar.
*Drag Bar - Might be either edited or removed, not sure if I am going to do this at this time.
New Hireling Bars - Yes, I finally have the right scripts and image elements to work from, they are going to look great.
*Compass - If I remove the Drag Bar I am going to have to edit this to match, still deciding weither or not to do this.
Character Sheet Changes - Elements of the character sheet are going to be redone to match other elemets of the UI
Social Panel Changes - Elements of the UI section are going to be changed to match other parts of the UI.
Character Inventory - Elements are going to get a color revamp.
*May or may not change in the future.
I hope to have this out for you as quickly as possible.

Hello Everyone,
I know this is seeming like a redundant thing with me steping in and out saying that my Update is coming soon over and over again, but I was working a job that's schedule was chaotic and with all the stress from the hostility from the work environment I couldn't sit and concentrate one developing the UI at all.
Well good and bad news is, I don't work there anymore.
Now I have finally gotten started on editing the UI and have gotten a few things accomplished, and with Backley, I have something fixed that I was going to do myself, but don't have to. (Points to the Quest Log fixes.)
And I have some more news, I am adding something else to my update list that will also be coming with the update.
Coming in Update 3.0
*New Version of the Crafting Orb.
*Modified Chat window, that fit the hide/show icon better and a smaller title bar for it so the image didn't take up as much space.
I hope to finish everything up soon and give you this next update in enough time to enjoy it before we get the UI overhaul with Update 7.
And to be honest after the look of U7 and some of the Element Changes coming, I am not sure weither or not I will be continueing my work on DDO.com Revised after it's release.
But until then I will try and provide you with a better feeling and better looking UI.
Thanks and Enjoy!

Update 3.0 Now available!!!
New to Update 3.0
New - Menu Bar - The menu bar has been squared off and been colorized to fit the other elements of the UI, (Gold)
New - Hireling Bars -The Hireling bar has been modified and colored to resemble both the shortcut bars and the focus orb, has the nice gold color added to it.
Updated - Character Sheet Changes - The tabs on the character sheet have been modified to match other elemets of the UI.
Updated - The Spell Page - The Spell Page Tabs, like the Character Sheet Tabs have been updated to match elements of the UI.
New - Character Inventory - Many elements of the character sheet have been altered to fit the ongoing gold theme of the UI. This includes the Character Auto-Equip, the Item Slots, the Weapon Set Slots, the General Inventory, and the Inventory Tabs.
New - Bank Tabs - The bank tabs and inventory have been updated to fit the theme of the Inventory page.
New - Mailbox - The item Slot of the Mail Box has been altered to match the Inventory Slots.
New - Crafting Orb - New eldritch crafting orb has been added so that it no longer looks like your feeding a skeleton, but are now creating something in a pool like device, made to resemble a modified version of the Focus Orb with wings! (No, Redbull wasn't involved!)
Updated - Chat Window - Has been modified to fit the hide/show icon better and a smaller title bar for it so the image didn't take up as much space.
New - Arrow Keys - Arrow keys that were not changed as part of the original DDO.com Skin where altered and given the goldish tint that many of the other UI elements have, so that they now fall into theme.
Fixed - Quest Advancement Window - The quest advancement window present during Wilderness/Quests has been fixed so that there is no longer a black block at the bottom right side of the window and the bottom left corner of the window, credit to the fix belongs to Backley.
Removed from update due to Lack of Element sourcing.
Social Panel Changes - This is something I really wanted to get to work on and be able to supply a little bit of a different type of update than the usual gold over, I wanted to add some complementary color scheme to it with maybe a few add ons, but as I was going through my source material I could not find the elements I was looking for, however if I am able to find them here before DDO:EU Update 7 comes, then I will see what I can do about adding it to this update at a later point.
Thanks as always!
