wis tomes?

what is the point of using a +2 wis tome on a non wf pally? all i see are some more sp and +1 will save which is already high on a pally. So why do most builds say eat a wis tome at level 7

Incremental? Yes, still a positive gain. Most poster have been playing for a long time, and using a tome on a character isn't a large expenditure. Tomes use up bank space after all.
