1) In a utopian world I would like to never see anyone get banned from DDO or any MMO.
2) In a utopian world I would like to never see a player take advantage of what is clearly a programming error and not the intention of the game play.
However we are not in a utopian world are we?
Hopefully we all had for the most part good parents and I was taught by them from an early age what is right and what is wrong. I was told I had a decision to make when confronted with the temptation of things that were right and wrong and the expectations that they as parents have of me and of what society has of me. If nothing else these may be the most important things a parent can pass down to their children.
I can not feel sympathy for players that are banned because they exploit an error in programming that was clearly not the intention of the game play. The recent exploit were many of the fast rising guilds are only getting there because of using an exploit to do so, well no one can blame anyone but yourselves for this. Unfortunately if your in a guild that is doing that and your not then maybe you should have asked yourself this question.
>> Why is my guild advancing at an alarming rate over all other guilds on all servers?
If the answer is because we have a well organized guild with a bunch of hard core players then bravo good for you and finding a guild like that.
If it is because many players in your guild and maybe even yourself as well are spamming out some exploit then maybe a ban is deserved.
I have seen and heard of many players and guilds taking advantage of many exploits in the four plus years I have enjoyed this game and can say I have never used one of them. Example I have 2 ranger builds and refused to use the recent error where you could exploit many shot thank fully it is being fixed in update 5, patch 1.
Bottom line is use common sense and the lessons your parents taught you and you will be able to enjoy this game for years to come.
