Do you have to retain high favor after drow unlock?

Ok for Drow, FvS, and (more relavent to the topic) 32 point builds,

Once you unlock these will they re-lock if you delete the char with all your favor? i.e. my rogue gets 1250 favor and now I can do 32 pt builds. If I delete my rogue and re-roll will I lose that ability now that my favor is gone? Or are server unlocks permanent?

I tried searching a bit but this forum's search capability seems somewhat limited.

It is permanent on that server. It does not transfer to other servers.

As far as I know, no. Once you get enough favor and talk to the drow in the harbor, the relevant unlock is yours forever (on that server) as long as your account is not banned.

That's why Drow is a terrible purchase; 400 favor is very easy to get, even for F2P, and you won't loose it even if you wipe that character to make a Drow

I thought getting 400 Favour on one server got you Drow on any server. Heck, I even saw in the DDO Store that it would! If it only gives you for that server, that sucks, 'cause Drezon of Siberys (http://my.ddo.com/character/cannith/drezon) has 66 (my highest) and I already have Lochlan (http://my.ddo.com/character/cannith/lochlan) on that server.

If you purchase with TP, then it is unlocked on all servers. If you grind for favor, it is only on the server you have earned the favor.

No, if you buy it in the store ( a big waste of money IMO) it unlocks on ALL servers. favor unlocks are on the server it was unlocked on only.

Theoretically, what would happen if the servers merged?
Would this new server have the same favour rewards as the ones you've unlocked on one of the merged servers?

Server mergers have happened previously, and all your charactor favor and unlocked is transfered.

My original server was Adar , which was merged into Sarlona

if you delete the toon with the favor you lose the ability to make more of said favor unlock until you gain it back again

Drow is a terrible buy if you only play one server its not so bad if you play on a lot of servers frequently to favor farm and never actually hit 400 on them I dont do this since I am VIP but know some who do
