I'm not sure if you can call this an active guild or a semi-active federation.
The basic philosophy is role-playing, and the humor is about what you'd have sitting around a table playing PnP. Lots of bad jokes, sarcasm, but nothing mean. When it comes to crawls, we play it slow, and have found that if you kill everything that moves or might move, you tend to get fewer attacks from behind. There's a lot of emphasis on scouting out battlefields, planning attacks, and if we can kill safely from a distance, heck yeah. We'll take longer to kill monsters from a high ledge. less battle damage and repair that way. No sense in getting in range of the pokey/stabby/smacky things if you don't have to.
We don't zerg. Really. Not Zerging. We don't bag on zerging, it's just not particularly fun for how we play.
Both my wife and I, (the 'guild' Officers), work during the day, so most of our playing is at night, Eastern time, or on the weekends. We don't have set times to play, but then, right now, there are three people in the guild, who all live in the same house. It's pretty easy to be unorganized when you can communicate via yelling.
Current members:
me, bynkii on Khyber, 15 Monk, LG, Light path
my wife, Raethe on Khyber, 14 Rogue, Assassin, Traps, and locks. Old school.
My son, Sworday on Khyber, aka "slippy". (he has a talent for falling off of things. Elves are not that nimble, lemme tell you) 9 Sorcerer, likes fire.
Oh, in case you hadn't guessed, we're chatty sorts, and tend to be even worse in character. If you don't have a good grounding in the classics, (Monty Python, Better off Dead, etc.), you're going to miss a lot.
Remember where I said we're trying to replicate how things are when you're playing PnP round a table? Yeah, only goofier.
Sharing is based on '"hey, can you use this?", but we aren't fanatics about it. Those holy burst handwraps of pure good won't buy themselves.
So, if disorganization, bad humor, verbosity and a clumsy elf appeal to you, send me a message.
