Hey guys,

Just wanted to give you a heads up that we may experience some issues with the phones today. The beholders have been driven mad by the heat in the Northeast, and are currently munching on phone lines in the other room. We're looking for some brave souls to combat them now. Please sign up for the raid below.

<kidding! This is actually due to local power issues, related to the heat in the Northeast.>

If you get disconnected, please just try us back again. Thank you for your understanding.


As of 12:40 pm Eastern on July 7th we've closed the phone queues. We're working to fix this problem, and want to be sure that we don't get disconnected from anyone while we're trying to assist them. I'll post again when the phones are open.

7:00 pm ET update - The phones won't be open today. We're performing emergency maintenance to get things up and running again as fast as we can. I'll still post again when the phones are open. We are still answering web inquiries / emails.

Thursday, July 8, 2010, 12:00 Noon EasternWe are continuing emergency maintenance on the phone systems. The phones remain down because all incoming calls were being periodically dropped. This included calls where a rep was speaking with a player, as well as calls waiting in queue.

While the phones are down, we are devoting our time to answering web inquiries (emails). Please submit a web inquiry if you have any questions or problems. Thank you for your understanding as we work to resolve this issue.

I'm sorry to have to inform you that the status remains the same on Friday, July 9, 2010. Please feel free to email any questions you may have. If you would like to fax a credit card so that the Account Management department can try to manually add it, please feel free to PM me for the number and required details.

I'm happy to announce that as of 12:00 Noon Eastern on Monday, July 12, 2010 the Account Management phones are open again. Please note that we are currently experiencing longer than usual queues and hold times, due to the recent phone issues. We will answer all calls as quickly as possible in the order they are received. We also expect this high call volume to continue throughout this week.

We are performing some final maintenance today, so if you are in the queue and get disconnected, please call back. There may be short periods where the phones are not available, but we do not expect these to last long. If you are unable to get through, please try again in a few minutes.
