Might we finally get this with the arrival of the half-orc?
It should of course be dependant on strength, which could perhaps be the downside to taking that feat (extra high strength at the cost of having less points to put into other stats).

Thinking of something like a 17, 18 or maybe even a 19 strength requirement so that not everyone will take it, and at the same tiem keeping THF with one-handed weapons a viable option.

Make this happen:

I just don't get it...

I do not see how wielding a larger races weapon would benefit us.

I mean a Giant's great club would be big...but I just can not remember any giant weapons.

OH THATS RIGHT...you prolly think Monkey Grip means you can dual-wield 2HF weapons like a Great Axe or a Greatsword...

Newp...thats NOT what the feat is.

It allows you to wield a weapon from a race one size larger than you.

I guess this means Halflings can finally use the "big boy weapons". NVM thats messed up too.

What I have in mind is that the feat simply makes a two-handed weapon count as a one-handed weapon, for your main hand. And then the Improved Monkey Grip would allow you to wield a two-handed weapon as a one-handed one in your off hand.
My dream would be a half-orc paladin wielding a great axe in one hand and a tower shield in the other.

So long as you add in appropriate penalties then you'd just add a little more flavour to the game.
