My Dwarven 19/Cleric/1Paly was gonna get TR'd to a FvS... Then I started playing with my Clerics and Radiant Servant.. They I read that Eladrin intends to make the Aura work while meleeing...

SO I'm gonna try this.

This build will be a fantastic Soloer and Self Sufficient melee/Healer for most solid groups. I cant imagine it being a very pug friendly "Main Healer" though.

I'll start with the Cons since this is a highly unusual Build...

No L9 Spells (Mass Heal and True Res)
Not the end of the world, but definitely restricts your ability to heal on elite/Epic Content.

Low Hit Points.
You will be relying on your aura and self healing a lot.

highly Buff Dependant
Self cast buffs are important, Get a Gird or 2 and a Dragonmarked Necklace.

Low Spell Points
Deep Multiclass creates a Spell Point Shortage.

Pro's:
L18 for your "aura" Only 1 point off a Pure Cleric

Excellent Melee Ability while Maintaining a very good Blade Barrier.

Incredibly Self Sufficient.

Ability to fill multiple roles within any party if played well.

not an overly impressive list of "Pro's" but it fits my playstyle well.

Mods for basic 32 Point build with Minor Tome/Gear Requirements

You lose about 100 Spell Points, a Couple Points "to Hit" and a few off your very high Will save. Overall, Still a Solid build and capable character.

Stats for 32Point Build (Stats that are reasonable achievable by anyone who puts some time in)

Exchanging 16/2/2 for 15/3/2 is well worth it IMO, as it opens up the fists of light route for self healing and more amp, making the toon an absolute overflowing fountain of AOE HP generation.

If you are using longswords anyway, might as well capitalize on the WSS/healing ki/healing curse/aura/healing amp synergy.

On a related note, why not use scimitars instead of longswords if you don't plan on being centered? Like the flavor?

Going from l16 to l15 drops your Aura from 19 to 16 per tick (Assuming no outside amplification)

I have a couple real nice Longswords already banked for the toon. Soverign host provides an additional +1 to hit with em as well.

Fitting in WSS (ANd Weapon Focus) just isnt gonna happen. Originally I was thinking about a 16/3Monk/1Fighter w/ WSS but just couldnt make it work the way I liked it.

Allies within the aura are healed 1 hit point per 3 caster Levels as long as they remain within it. Undead enemies are damaged for the same amount. "

Aren't levels 3,6,9,12, 15, and 18 the place to be for the extra aura HP? Does the +2 levels to positive/light from PrE add to this or something?

Yes, the Radiant servant levels add to the aura
