I was just wondering if there was any other interest out there in having one quest narrated by a well known voice actor.
My thoughts would be Gilbert Gotfried
For those who don't know he did the voice of the parrot in Alladin.
Robin Williams would be a GREAT choice too, but I am sure he would be too expensive.
What does everyone else think?

She died at the beginning of the year, but you can find her voice being used on "Scariest Places on Earth" on the Sci-fi (refuse to use Syfy) channel.

Not to take the wind out of your sails here but someone covered this a few weeks ago too. Godfried was mentioned there too.
However, I would love to see Peter Renaday do some voice overs. He has an extensive voice over career, for those who might remember he was the voice of the original TMNT cartoon as the voice of Splinter.

William Shatner. By the time he tells you a trap has sprung and it has killed you you have been resed and completed the quest.

My vote would be for James Earl Jones, another actor that doesnt work cheap, but at least would be quite familiar with voice acting already (Darth Vader/Lion King). And certainly a voice that stands out.

David Warner (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Warner_(actor)) (a.k.a. The Lobe, Jon Irenicus). Nothing makes you go "Oh ****" better than him uttering "You have SPRUNG a TRAP." in his signature ham-voice.

Personally I'd love to see Jerry aka Mockduck narrate a dungeon chain. He's ddo's own local celebrity makes a lot more sense than any of those other people.

I would take Leonard Nimoy over William Shatner any day. Leonard Nimoy has a history of doing voice overs for games too so he might be inclined to do it. He did the voice overs for Civilization IV with the technology upgrades and I dare say he did a bang-up job. The expansion used Sid Meier, who I have to say should really stick with game design.
And yeah, Morgan Freeman would be awesome as a previous popular thread would indicated, but he has his hand in too many pots right now. By the way, everyone should check out Through the Wormhole on the Science Channel. Awesome show.

Leonard Nimoy works very well for technological related things and sci-fi due to the spock association, much less well for D&D Magic because of that. Same for William Shatner, the Star Trek association is too strong.
Paul Daniels now would be awesome for some wizards and sorcerers....

I actully really like this idea, he has a good voice too. I really like turning off the rest of the world and just listening to his cast. Might sound silly but it reminds me of reading a good book, or at least listening to one of the audio ones.
Jerry the DM FTW!

come to think of it Mark Hamill does a lot of voice acting... The Joker from Batman the Animated Series and the World War Z Audiobook and many others.
Another from the World War Z Audiobook and some other fondly remembers things... Allen Alda
but I think I would most like John Rhys Davies

Everytime a fire trap goes off he says "Cant you smell what the rock is cooking" followed by "Halflings obviously"

I would pay hundreds of dollars to play a pack that introduces gnome npc's and that has Schwarzenegger doing all the dm'ing and all of the voices for the npcs.
