I would like to take a moment, and step away from my role as humorist, and give a warm, and heart-felt wish for a happy Independence Day to those fellow DDOers (not just from Khyber, but especially from Khyber as we know them) who are celebrating this day in a foreign land, in inauspicious circumstances.

I, who have never served in the military (4F for sure), give my thanks to you, and salute you and your dedication and sacrifice to allow all that we have in this nation of ours to be...including my ability to play an online game with you.

It is now, has been, and will be always my honor to game with you and hope that you can find a way to celebrate the birth of our country in safety and in the knowledge that you are remembered and well-thought of back home.

You, Hordo, are correct.

Props to the folks who keep us free.

/salute

+1 to all the men and women serving at home and abroad.
(I'll put the +1 in your care RH)

I've been thinking that we should combine Independence Day with Veterans' Day, acknowledging WHY we're still enjoying the freedoms we have.

I've been thinking that we should combine Independence Day with Veterans' Day, acknowledging WHY we're still enjoying the freedoms we have.

Independence was from the tea-bagger British and the birth of a nation.

Veterans day is for all who participated - including in other nations where it is celebrated as Armistice day (war to end all wars:rolleyes:) or Remembrance day.

Big difference for a lot of countries.

Now back to trolling.
