Just an FYI out there in bug land. The new guild favor component venders in house k offer discounted prices to those that have reached their minimum guild level. These components are bound to account and are not stacking with previous unbound components. Not really a big deal and I just changed over the the new discounted ones going forward, but I thought I would just let everyone know.

Word around the Harbor yesterday (whee rumors!) was that the level 4 spell arcane spell reagent (Heart of Hen, I think) was misnamed or something and level 4 spells would not accept it as a suitable reagent.

I can't buy them yet, otherwise I'd dump my old ones for a while and see if I could still throw down firewalls.

I think this was intentional. Otherwise people would buy for non guild or others. Notice these bind too. Essentially, they are different items. Of course for the most part this makes them useless.

I bought a set and then threw them away when I noticed they didn't stack and bound.

The plan:

Make everything bind so when your casters find they have run out of spell components in the middle of a quest, the best option is the ddo store.
Steal underpants.
Profit.

Some of us have determined that having heal scrolls you can't pass off to the healer in worse case situations isn't worth the plat saving or using 2 inv slots. I mean, I don't spend that much on scrolls/components now, it isn't worth it.

Not only don't they stack, Guild renown Hearts of Hen can NOT be used to cast Level 4 Arcane spells.
