When I logged out last night (around 8 PM) we were just shy of level 15. I'm going to assume that we hit, or were close to, 16 by today. So, we should have one of these babies in not too long. :D

And they invite like 100-200 members everyday, not 10-20. Was ~500 yesterday, today its ~700 :rolleyes:

Yea I think the Solid guilds that have been around and stable will last the longest, the mass invite guilds will explode quickly and level quickly but after the hype it will go away as the established guilds take hold.

Also, Renown is inherently flawed when you can 1000 lowbies and still get the same if not more renown for level low quests. I am sure Turbine will see this at some point. Its bad when a a korthos island quest gives you a 1000 guild renown and you can run Epic Tide Turns and get two 50 Renown tokens.

Not to be negative but it doesnt take much to invite a bunch of lowbies and inflate your numbers. Renown is completely busted in that fact that you get the same ammount for low level quests as much if not more than epic level quests. However, grats to y'all or the milestone.

Actually Aises spammed invites in The Leaky Dingy, not Korthos. But that doesn't make it any less work to level. Just inviting people isn't what got us level's, the 50 dedicated people that are questing and shot up 5 levels in a day might have had something to do with it, don't you think? That and only Aises spams invites, I actually advertise, as do the rest of our officers. So don't look at "us" and blame us for blind zerg invites, look at "him" and blame him.

Hey Hey Hey, let's not point the finger here. I was looking for cool people and being a tavern healer. I devoted a lot of plat to healing people who would die and res in the tavern over and over. I did not spam people I would heal them and invite them once if they declined I would never invite them again unless they /tell me. there are a lot of those "random invites" that are really cool and knowledgeable of the game. Just because someone is a low level does not mean they will not be a future valuable asset to a guild.

granted there may be a numerous amount of people who don't know much about the game but being in a large guild with a lot of members their level is very beneficial. Obviously for that to work you need members in different time zones who will have a sufficient amount of players their level. that requires drastic recruitment methods.

The ship is in a static instance but if you jump off you seem to land in a random assortment of bodies of water around Stormreach.
