No more default self-targeting -- is it intentional?

Before Update 5, heals and buffs would target the caster by default if he had nothing in the focus orb. Now I have to explicitely target myself (press F1). With nothing in focus orb, nothing happens. Spell points or clickies are not used up, but cooldown does cycle.

This is annoying, as any self-healing or self-buffing now requires an extra keystroke.

I have not noticed this. I ran Redwillow earlier (technically late last night) with my guild, and was able to heal myself fine without targeting myself.

I havn't had this problem...seems to work fine for me.

I logged on evening of July 1, and this was not happening any more.
