I saw some threads about guilds were folks who like to solo band together so that they can take advantage of the new guild system. Any such guild on Ghallanda. I formed a guild a little while ago so my son and I would stop getting blind guild invites ... if there is no such guild I would be willing to make my guild a guild like this. Let me know if anyone is interested. My guild name is Peace Love and Monster Removal.

Hmmm ... I thought the idea was quite clever. I don't want to be in a guild that has lots of commitments. I want to solo, duo or sometimes play in parties. With the new guild system that is now in place, if I am not in a guild or if I am in a small guild, I may not have access to some of the new benefits. However, if I have a group of folks who are as non-commital as I am, we can earn favor for our barely a guild guild and get the advantages that other guilds get. Seems win-win to me; but I am tired and probably nothing in my post makes much sense.
Also, I have played a little tonight and I see that earning guild favor is not all that difficult. Perhaps my son and I can duo our way to an acceptable level of renown.

He's not talking about playing with a group; he's talking about simply being in a guild with other people who mostly solo or duo quests so they can at least get the mutual benefit of guild renown / items / whatever.
A guild of 2 people that solo will have less capabilities than a guild of 200 who solo. There's little incentive to NOT be in a guild these days...so be in one that provides the framework/benefits without anything else is his point.

That is exactly what I was trying to say. Thanks for saying it more eloquently than I.

Well we don't have a guild page, nor do we have a recruitment policy, but Minions of the Masses is always looking for laid back, no commitment play, and no bs..
I've been a member and an officer since my friend started it... we have a small number of people and really dont' expect anything from anyone except that you have fun. If you like to run solo, or duo, or just w/ guild mates then by all means do so.. but if you have any questions or feel that we might just be up your alley, then look us up.
