Does the reductions from this enhancement stack? For instance the first enhancement lowers the empower healing cost by 1 point. The second enhancement lowers it by 2 points. Would my empower healing cost me 7 mana or 8 if I picked up both of them. Trying to determine if it's worthwhile to get all 3 as 12 AP's for -3 off empower healing costs seems a little weak to me. But if they stack... 4 extra mana for an empower heal? Yes, please.

8, not 7.

I got them all on my cleric anyway. Making heals more mana efficient is huge, in my opinion.

I dont take them at all. it is only 1 point per tier. WAY better places to use 10 action points.

Yeah, I already picked up the first one, I may spec out of it down the road, but for now 2 points isn't that bad of an investment (just respecc'ed yesterday). Probably should have asked first, but 2 AP is not the end of the world for a level 11 :).

The last tier is actually two points, so all told it's a 4 point reduction.

12 points for 4 less of on a spell cast. If you cast 40 mass heals while waiting for the feeble melee to beat Harry down thats 160 SP saved. If you're just looking at tossing heals while standing around waiting for Horoth to die and you cast 80 heals during the course of the fight thats 320 SP saved. So really for SP it's a pretty good buy as 10 points into Energy of the Zealot only gets you 110, although I doubt many people take zealot 4 so it's more like 6 points gets you 80 at Zealot 3. So for a healbot... maybe not really any better place to put 10 action points.

Tier I and II only reduce the cost by 1 spell point each but the description says III takes off 2 more. If that's correct, Empower Healing costs:

10 SP with no enhancements (0 AP spent)
9 SP with Improved Empower Healing I (2 AP spent)
8 SP with Improved Empower Healing II (6 AP spent)
6 SP with Improved Empower Healing III (12 AP spent)

It's a lot of action points, but a Radiant Servant II could be walking around with +75% healing for only 6 SP per cast. Taking these enhancements leverages one of the few advantages clerics have over favored souls in the SP efficiency department.

That being said, it seems best to take the more expensive tiers later in your cleric's life since it makes sense to take things like life magic first.

And with radiant servants I'd probably want to max out the crit lines to maximize their free healing...not positive on that as I haven't run it through a builder but a solid investment there seems to make sense when you're talking about 12 healing checks every 3 seconds - lots of chances for crits and with the small(er) numbers your crits won't be wasted.

Grab a Staff of the Petitioner and get an even better SP discount than the enhancement line. On ALL your spells.

a) They stack, so do both
b) You can get empower healing before you can get staff

Empower healing item like Lorrik's Necklace or dragon touched armor will cut the cost a further 2 taking empower healing down to only costing 4.
