Hi,

My character is approaching level 20 on its wizard TR life (was originally sorc) and I'll be going back to being a sorc after the next TR. Before I kill it though I'd like to gather up some gear which will help speed up the progression through high levels next time around?

I play about 2-3 hours a day, so I'd like to gather stuff that doesn't take too long to get.

I'm already in the process of making greensteel goggles with cha skills, wizardy and 150sp. I have all the mats for that.

What else would be reasonably easy to get considering the hours that I play and that raid groups are not always easy to put together during australian peak times on my server?

IN my opinion your first goal should be obtaining a +9 bonus to charisma thru an item. Often this is a greensteel weapon, but can be placed on draconic armor or other items. The greensteel can be used at level 12. A +9 bonus at level 12 is just ridiculous. This will make leveling very easy 12 - 16 even for a WF.

Next obtain a +2 charisma tome to apply at 7th level. If it is your last Life, a +3 tome will be nice.

3rd, pick up a ring of Thelis from hound.

4th If you have resources and time build a second GS item for spell points and charisma skill.

5th Build as many Draconic armor sets as possible. Look for buffs to spell pen, glaciation, superior combustion VII, resistance, or other things. These items are perhaps the easiest to craft of all the high level crafted loot.

6th pick up bracers with spell focus(s) on them. Evocation/Necromancy is a good choice.

7th always use a lore item associated with best attack spell. This coupled with your super high DC's will amaze you with uber performance.

8th get two clickies of superior enhancement for each spell set you use regularly

well i have completed a greensteel blank weapon...guess I could start on the cha item first.

I actually have a good system for lore items/damage items. I keep my fire, ice and force based (+ repair) spells in their own hotbars. in slot 10 of each of these hotbars I have the appropriate damage and lore weapon set for that damage spell type. whenever I switch between hotbars, I hit the middle mouse button and it readies the best weapons for the damage spells on that hotbar.
