View Full Version : Tyrs Paladium is hiring! "The 30-50+ Year Olds Guild"
LeslieWest_GuitarGod
06-30-2010, 06:03 AM
Tyrs Paladium is a multi-game, drama free, 30+ yr old (most are early 30s-60s+) guild.. on the Ghallanda server.
We are an American guild with an international/Euro flavor. Tyrs is a fun, experienced guild that's looking to fill several spots with new blood. Our guild has members on at all times, but left & right coasters (from California to New York) in the US should find plenty on during peak hours. F2P'ers who like the game, and would like to join a group of friendly, knowledgeable players may apply. We are a decent sized guild, yet we run it tight knit. Everyone is family here.
We play hard, laugh hard, and play it old school, with much respect to the camaraderie found in tabletop D&D of years past.

Ode to Gary Gygax
We have one of the most active guild websites there is, created by and for guildies only. On this site, you could find plenty of game tips in the Tyrs Library, sign up for scheduled raids and other guild runs in the Tyrs War Room, shoot the sh!t in the Tyrs Tavern, or listen to our esoteric MP3 player in the Tyrs Mosh Pit! And that’s only a mere taste of Kargon’s Tasty ham! You will ALWAYS find good times and a helping hand in Tyrs Paladium.
If you’d like to join, post here or send me a private message. In game, talk to me or Paks, our guild leader. We’ll run with you and see if you’ll make a good fit. Peace,
- Mississippee
PS: We enforce our drama free policy.

Hello, I've been playing for some time now (Ghallanda) and cant seem to make it past lvl 10-12. Prior guilds i have joined do not want to take the time out to "help" someone that doesnt know the higher lvl quests. I'm currently playing a 2fighter/6rogue...names Syebaydez. I love the game, play mostly at night (got a wife and kids) and as much as i can on weekends. I'm a former Marine and know all about teamwork. Gonna be away most of the holiday weekend, but let me know if i can meet up with u or someone in ur guild while on Ghallanda. THX

Hi im a 38 year old male who has been playing MMOs for a couplle of years. I started with Conan but didnt care for pvp raping. Then I played LOTR Online for the last 2 years and have done almost everything in the game. I have 3 maxed out characters but was kinda bored with the game and my clan split up so I figured that I would try another game for a while. I want to join a good clan that uses vent, helps each other, does high end game raids, is respectful to each other, and generally likes to joke around. I dont like rude people and will leave if there is someone that goes off when people ask questions. We were all noobs at one time or another. Right now I have a 3rd level Cleric. I play pretty regularly and am looking for a good group to help out. I probably can max out a toon in a month or so. If you are interested lust send me some info and maybe we can talk. Thanks for your time.

We still have spots open for the right type of player. Have had fun meeting those I've spoken to so far!
It's great to find new blood who actually are enjoying the game.

I have but a quick moment to post today-and no time to play. I liked what you said, but if I could borrow you to read my looking for guild post, I would appreciate it. Not much for the websites, though I'm sure yours is lovely. Would rather see how your people treat new players and such in game, so if you like what you read I will meet up with you there. Looking at a couple of guilds, new player as such.

We are very kind to newer players, as long as the new player comes with a few pre-reqs... most importantly good team play and respect of your fellow guildies. Send me a PM with your game names and we'll set something up.

I hope to get on some this week end and get completed with Korthos. I move very quickly when I can get on. There's still a great deal to do here in the Gulf, so who knows! I'm only guessing that you hadn't had a chance to read my post? I have only had contact with a few guilds, two sent me private messages, but I don't want to "set something up", I don't want it staged, or planned. I want to know what kind of people are in the ranks. If I ask questions to a member when I'm running around will they answer? If I get in a group with them, and they don't know me and don't know I'm looking at joining the guild, how will they act? I work of the premise that birds of a feather really do flock together, so if the leaders of your guild recruit like minded people, then how those people respond, when they are normal gaming mode, will say meter's about the guild itself. Do they hover in small groups or do they work together, do they help each other out, or is it everyone for themselves. I'm a creature of habits, so once I'm in, I don't want to make a change later-I want to grow and be a vital part of the team. I hope this makes some sense.
I look forward to meeting some of your members in game.

Hey there.
I'm currently searching for a guild and indeed like the Paladium's introduction, but I've still got two questions about it.
First...what exactly do you mean by "we play hard" and "play it old school"? I've got an idea, but am not sure.
Second...what are the guild members' online times? Considering that I'm German, it's always better to ask before you find out that when you have to go online, your guild mates are about to get up, heh...had that once, didn't work out too well.
In case you want to know more about me, my playing habits and the like...I've introduced myself in my looking for guild post (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=262626). Should that leave any other questions open, go ahead and ask.
I'm looking forward to your response.

Our version of "play hard" simply means when we run together, we give it our all. We are in it to win it, and we do not leave a guildie behind. We feel by hiring like minds and running together, elevates the fun factor for us all. And we definitely try to have fun each and every time we run. That, is where the "old school" comes in :D
As for play times, we have folks on 24/7. We are in every way an all day/all night guild. Our busiest times are times are 12pm-6pm and 7pm-2am eastern like in many guilds, however we have a very loyal, dedicated, and active worldwide contingent that plays as well. Netherlands, Turkey, England, Australia, Brazil. Our military brothers are known to pop on at any hour as well ;)
Most importantly, we all talk to each other. You should feel like "one of the gang" right away.
If you are interested, hit me up in game or pm me here. I just read your other LFG post. Look forward to meeting you :)

Sounds very good indeed, pretty much like what I'm searching for...how about obligations on being online (which is what I forgot to ask in the last post) - do you have a "if you aren't online every x days/weeks/you name it, you're out" policy or something like that?

No. Real life comes first. That naturally includes family, work, and school. We just ask if you are going to be "away" for an extended period, please keep us in the link.

In my opinion, the very best way to do it.
So eventually, I come to the question: May I join your guild?
Most of the time, I'm online with my fighter Bartholomeus Wiegand or my bard Gebhard von Agolia, right now with the former. I've found some of the Paladium online, but didn't quite know who to message, so I'm asking here.

Thanks for your inquiry! We do however require to run together before we extend a hire. We have found that this is best for both parties. Hit up Gharrick or Mississippee in game, or ask any guildie if I'm on. We'll set something up asap! Looking forward to it...

Aye, I both assumed and read it in your rules (I googled your forum); I'll drop you a line as soon as I've got the time which hopefully will be later today, but right now, I might have to leave for up to an hour any moment.
You'll hear from me. See you then!

I met with Jorem, a member of your guild this past week end. He was very friendly, and spoke very highly of the entire group. It was extremely easy to befriend him, as he was very sincere, and truly interested in what I had to say. His answers to my questions were direct and informative. I wanted to pass on to you that he had some very kind things to say and how helpful he was. I am level 4 now, so if I am able to get more time on, I will see if there is anyone in the group to run with.

Hi,
Im 29 years old and have a lot of experience in both MMORPG and many RPG's before the launch of MMO's. Everything from Baldurs gate to the newer stuff like NWN (not sure if we're allowed to post names here but thought I'd risk it). I have tons of experience in playing mages (sorceress mostly), rogues or paladins (currently a pally) and Im happy to develop a character to help suit what the guild is looking for.
I am however completely new to DDO, only been playing 2 days, but already a level 2. On average I play at least 3 hours a day during the week and much more during the weekend.

Hello
I am DND playering of the table-top game, of 20+ years, and now the online game, about one year. I am looking to join a guild to have even more fun with the online game.
My character is a female elf of 5th level (2 rogue/3 wizard). Her name is MaiVal Silvermoon.
I hope you let me join.

Ya been busy with work. Haven't been on much the last 2 days. I have a slew of toons, so the simplest, most effective way to find me, is to ask any guildie if I'm online. I'll look for the toon name that you sent me in game today...
PS: As for me not replying to the tread, you might wan to look at the post right above yours! :) Big Brother is always watchin! ;)

Hi
Sorry that my last post was to short and not having alot of information. I hope this additional information helps. I'm a 40 year old male who has been playing MMOs for a couple of years. I started with LaTale, Cabal and Neo Stream. I also have been playing Pangya for the past four years. I want to join a good guild that uses vent, helps each other, is respectful to each other, and generally likes to joke around. I do like to help when people ask questions if I know the answer. We were all noobs at one time or another. Right now I have a 2nd/3rd level rogue/wizard and I plan on adding few more down the road. I play pretty regularly and am looking for a good group to join and play with. Thanks for your time.

Thanks Mai. This sounds good. I will say we dont use vent. We found it simply divides the guild into users/non users. That makes people feel excluded. So, we opted to simply not use it.
That way, we keep our guild chat and website lit up, and that's exactly our strategy.
If still interested, feel free to hit me up on one of my toons. I'll look for you in game!!

We are opening our doors once again to those that understand the premise we are going for, so if you are looking for a fun place that keeps the old spirit of D&D camaraderie fresh in your mind, give us a holla!
Play hard, laugh hard and win.

Calling all good folk around the world who seek adventure!!
Since the EU invasion began, we are very interested in growing our European contingent even further. We have guildies from many points of the globe. Italy, Brazil, Germany, Turkey, South Africa, Canada, Australia, England, and the Netherlands are represented, and we would like to add more.
This has given our guild an international flavor that really works, and we continue to warmly welcome all from overseas that choose to uphold the standards that we represent.
Play hard, laugh hard, and win. Together.
(We have a mix of about 60/40 American & non-American like. EVERYONE gets along great here and we all help each other as well. Tyrs is a fun, yet tight knit band of adventurers.)

The gates of Tyrs are open once again! And we are looking for a few team-oriented players who are seeking a no-pressure, fun guild. Newer players and vets alike are welcomed.
If anyone is interested in joining a guild that prides itself on fun & adventure in a no-drama setting, where everyone helps and knows everyone, then contact me in game or shoot me a personal message, or comment right here.

We had a few great hires in January. Looking forward to who we'll meet in February!
Our playstyle? Simple, we play a relaxed game, together. We are looking for those who appreciate old school D&D values of the founding fathers pictured below, such as camaraderie, good adventure, challenge, and most especially FUN! We pride ourselves on being well prepared, and working together to achieve a common goal. We will teach anyone willing to learn.

No names out of courtesy but the guild my cleric is in stinks. Operated and populated by the immature, selfish, disorganized and disrespectful. I am none of these and would rather keep the company of others who aren't. Anybody from Tyrs that I've run with has always been a good player and decent person so if you guys are still taking on recruits I'll drop this bunch today.

After reading your posts here, it sounds like this is exactly the kind of guild I want to be in. Active, engaged, friendly. I would like to try it out if you don't mind. My character is Eimnot. He's a lvl 2 right now, kind of an experiment. My others are in 40+ lvl guilds that do absolutely nothing but use the ship to get buffs and transport. I would gladly forgo many lvls if there is the environment you say there is. In any case, please /invite or send me a message. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Been a while since I've posted in the free forums.
We'd like to welcome all in the F2P community who choose to play DDO without drama, to check out our guild first hand.
Our two big rules are No drama and No zerging. And, its actually ENFORCED!
If you believe in adventuring together, side by side loyal guildies, Tyrs Paladium will mostly likely make a good fit.
Tyrs was, and will always will be about camaraderie.

Hello Magnefique.
Non zerg questing isnt an empty promise in Tyrs, its in fact our specialty. If camaraderie and teamwork is what you are seeking, its plentiful in Tyrs Paladium.
We are very active, stay organized, and create/enforce a laid back fun environment.
If you message me your game names, we'll chat and get you in the fold.
Thanks for lookin' out and we'll see you in game!

Our plan for 2012 is to strengthen our ranks, as well as becoming even better neighbors on Ghallanda.
We are a patriotic guild that tends to attract former and current military (we host multi server Memorial Day and Veterans Day events on Ghallanda each year), former and current PnP'ers, and just the right type of player looking to join a cohesive group of players where camaraderie and teamwork are paramount to the experience.
So, if you are in search of an organized, active guild that is focused on camaraderie, good adventure, challenge, and most especially FUN, then send me pm here or in game!

Are you tired of feeling like a nobody in your guild? Run with us once, and you'll realize how different Tyrs is run. We are a group of knowledgeable and organized gamers that combines casual players and selfless hardcores, yet with a very unique mindset. Everyone is laid back here and willing to help a fellow guildie out.
Its a fun place where working together, helping one another and having fun super-cedes any self accomplishment. If you'd like to play your DDO without the typical egos and know-it-alls, ask any Tyrs guildie to track down our fearless guild leader, or post your interest here (or in PM). :D

Recruited a few great guildies last month. After closing our gates for a few weeks... we are pushing them wide open again.
Those who are looking for a drama free, active, and tight knit guild should apply. The camaraderie is definitely our #1 selling point. Have more fun playing DDO!! ;)

I'm a returning founding player with characters from 1 to 18 in numerous build styles and roles.
To be honest I need a good dusting off and an oppurtunity to brush up on my playing. I'd love to join the guild and run with some other players again.
I'm 34 and usually available late nights in the EST zone.
Thanks for the consideration. If you would like to contact me ingame or via the ingame mail the character I am on right now is an artificer named Dionysiac Emberforge.

Thank you for seeking us out Tehmu. We have quite a bit in common. I played Baldur's Gate 1&2 and Neverwinter Nights 1&2 as well. You can forget about having troubles communicating with guildies or finding someone to run with you. In fact, our website is set up in such a way to ensure everyone feels included not only "in the guild", but with each other. Whether you check the site for a real life recipe, to laugh at a joke, to sign up for a raid or quest, to post your own quest or raid, to inquire about crafting or rebuilding your character, you'll always find a helping hand and/or feel like you belong to something special. And that's just the website. In game, we find the hospitality carries over. Any questions you could possibly have about the game, we got ya covered. If we don't know, someone will find out the answer.
Anyhow, I like what I hear so far, so as soon as we see each other in game, lets chat for a bit and hopefully both you and I feel comfortable and we can welcome you to the Tyrs fam!

G'day,
I have been reading the threads looking for a guild that I'll enjoy and are suited to. I'm impressed by your introduction and further reply's on this thread.
My history
I've been playing on and off since 08-09ish, but in that time have created + deleted numerous toons and been with some great guilds. I still have 4 toons with my main being Torileus.
My last guild was terrific but unfortunately as an Australian Defence member i am sent away on regular occasions and sometimes for long periods, making me inactive and being removed from the guild.
My hours are 1700-2200 M-T and anytime weekends.
I'm looking for a guild that will assist in catching me up with the lastest news and updates, assist in refining my toons and skills and not always remove me from the guild when i'm sent away.
Thanks
Torileus.

Thanks for looking us up Torieus. Love what you had to type, as there are many points you bring up that accentuate that you have much in common with Tyrs.
First of all, I'd like to thank you for your service to your country, as we have very similar goals/concerns as countries. For some that might not know Operation Slipper, as its called, represents Australia's sacrifice and contribution to the war in Afghanistan.
In reference to your post, I'd like to answer your last concern. We do not, ever, remove our military members from our ranks. We understand you may be called at a moment's notice. All we normally ask is that you send a line to myself or the guild leader, a simple "I'll be back" will tell us all we need to know. In any case however, we know sometimes even that is just not possible, so you have no worries. Guilds do that to conserve guild renown loss/decay. Internally, we disagree with Turbines guild renown decay system and have decided long ago not to hassle our military folk. We proudly eat that decay.
As far catching you up to the new content, and build maintenance, well that's just Tyrs Paladium's forte, for several reasons. You will find a mountain of information already in our Tyrs Library, located on our website, as well as in our News & Events section. You will also have access to some very knowledgeable players in game and on our forums... and all will assist you down to the finest detail.
As far as your schedule, I think it will fit in nicely. You will make many American friends here but you'll also find a contingent from UK, Australia and even neighboring New Zealand that will be more than happy to run with you! ;)
Let's look for each other in game, and we'll get you into the fold if you'd like, right away!

Hi folks,
Fairly new to the whole DDO scene, but a regular gamer who was brought up playing D&D and I have many years of computer gaming under my belt.
I'm only a couple of weeks onto my first ever DDO adventure so thought a guild should be the next step.
Don't really know what it entails, but am willing to learn and find out.
I'm a L5 Paladin and play nearly every day, for 2 to 3 hours.
If I am of any interest to your clan, please bear me in mind.

Heya!
Just read this thread and I must say this guild looks like a very good fit for me.
I've just recently started to play after quite a long break (my previous time, I mostly dabbled with a few different classes), I would really like to find a group of friend that could help me learn the ropes of the game and make me discover what the fun is all about. I've played D&D for a good number of years but I'm quite a newb at the actual game, I'm a quick learner and have a lot of experience playing MMOs in the past.
If you would have me, I'd be glad to join!
Thanks!

Recently came back from a 2 year hiatus. Have a lvl 18 character, but upon entering the world I realized I remembered NOTHING.
Created a new one, gave it a go, and hit lvl 16 with it, decided she shall be my main from hence forth.
However, now that I'm p2p again, I'm hoping to find a guild to help me with questions, run quests with, and in the near future, go for raids with. Liked your recruitment message, so hoping to reply ^^ I'm usually online on Solvera Silverwing (name of the current main), probably will most easily be found tapestry farming for the next few days xD
Thanks in advance for your time!
(Also note, is something appears weird in this post I'm sorry, for some reason the entire website for ddo is in german for me at the moment, so making this post actually took a lot longer than it should have xD )

Hello, Looking for a new guild. Mine has become defunct. I have played since game began, but am the very definition of a casual player. couple hours at a time, 3 or 4 nights a week and whenver i can sqeeze in some time. I have one TR and one epic character to go with a plethora of lowbies. Not a huge raid fan but really have never run too many. Would like to actually experience the whole game!
I am old and have a family IRL so this game is just that, a game. So i dont take it too seriously. Gets boring playing alone. VIP since the start.
Thanks.

You guys have a limited number of spots during a period of time?
Seems so organized. Ive run in many pugs with Tyrs Paladium, all around friendly, laid back players is the experience Ive always come away with. One of a handful of guilds thatseems pug friendly on g-land.
Nice having you guys around, tho I think many of you are deep in FR atm, as I havent seen many in stormreach in a few weeks.

Yes. We cycle our hiring with breaks in between. We use those breaks to help new recruits settle in and get to know them. We hire solely by personality. Doesnt matter how much or how little you know.
Thank you very much for the kind words. We are indeed very pug friendly, by nature.

Good day,
I'm a "retired" OTB D&D player (played from the late 80's to the mid 2000's), and decided to give DDO a try a few months ago.I've been P2P for about 2.5 months, playing mostly one weeknight a week as well as one weekend night a week. Usually between 21:00 and 02:00 AST.
I prefer to play melees and my current toon is Warbornn, an 8th lvl Half-Orc Barb. I'm a little frustrated in not being able to understand how to build my toon better. I've asked for some tips in PUGs, and most of the time they provide some tips. But you can tell they would rather quest than answer all my questions, which I understand.
I'd also like to play with others that do not run through the quest or start flaming me for not knowing what to do "exactly as they say I should be doing".
Thanks.

Tyrs Paladium is proud to announce our commitment to DDO and Neverwinter Online going forward. With Neverwinter Online launching on April 30th, 2013 we can now offer our guildies two official D&D licensed games to play. What's great is both DDO and Neverwinter communities speak freely on our website each day, and are getting along so well.
That's the benefits of a truly drama free community. Play the game you want to play, your way. Together.
We have earned quite the recognition in the DDO and Neverwinter communities to date, thanks to many of our guild mates who have offered their voice and opinions on the official game forums and quality of play in game. Our reputation will be built day by day, through displays of camaraderie that cannot be simply overlooked.
The key to our success is we put our guild rules to good use. They are not "rules to follow" for us, they are the way we carry ourselves, its our character.
As the great Abraham Lincoln once said, "Character is like a tree and reputation is like a shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing."
If you'd like to join Tyrs Paladium in DDO, and/or venture with us to the town of Neverwinter and beyond, hit me up in this thread or send me a PM!

I’m in my early thirties looking for an experienced guild to go more in-depth in the game. I’ve been playing for about a year now and have tried out a few different guilds. I haven’t found one that has a strong community vibe. I enjoy soloing but find that it gets pretty boring fast. I enjoy running with groups on any missions. I’m a vet and enjoy team work on missions. I can’t put a lot of time in the game mainly some nights and weekends. Hope to hear from you soon.

Find out why we have more views on the forum than any other guild. Yet... we hire so few. Why?
We are not looking for the most, or the largest egos, or the best geared.
We ARE looking for the best personalities... folks looking for a community with real camaraderie.
We are a medium to large sized guild, but as always, we run it tight-knit. No drama no zerg is our niche.
Hell, it's our claim to fame.
So if you are green or supreme... but have a yearning to be part of a casual, yet focused and fun group thats ACTIVE, give Tyrs Paladium a hola!

LOL! Thanks Battle :) We try, but like I tell my guildies, it's all of them who make the guild what it is.
So, have you had a chance to talk to the other powers that be in the OTG about joining the Fellowship? The main thing is you'd be helping small and medium sized casual, no drama guilds out a ton, and the OTG would fit in real nice with that concept and help fulfill the Fellowship's core mission. It's already benefited Tyrs guildies, and as the Fellowship grows - I foresee only higher quality runs for everyone involved.

Hola Leslie,
I´m interested in joining Tyrs Paladium, since I´ve run a few pugs with some of its members and they were fun, helpful and no drama like.
To summarize my dilemma: My main character is a juggernaut, not because I like it, but because it´s a great build to solo or survive the actual pug scene. I want to play bards and pallys!
A little about me:
I love this game. I´m a 38 year old from Argentina (that´s +1 ET). I read and understand english perfectly, but I dont trust my accent to be good enough for a mic. I manage to play around 10-15 hours a week (I´d love to play 30, but I´m a husband and a dad to 1 little girl and another on the way). I prioritize camarederie and flavor over min/maxing by a far margin but I also enjoy building my characters to the best of my abilities (and time). I´ve raised a pally to lev 20 (Nahiz, the jugger on it´s 2nd life), a warchanter/fatsinger to 25 (Pindaro, my fav) and a cc wiz (Dassin, who I want to TR after next update into another cc wiz). I only manage to play one at a time, and that´s the jugger right now... no altoholism here.
That´s all i can think of right now.
Take care,
Nahiz.

Hola Leslie,
I´m interested in joining Tyrs Paladium, since I´ve run a few pugs with some of its members and they were fun, helpful and no drama like. My small guild, The Dungeon Crawlers, has been reduced to just 2 or 3 people, and though it makes me really sad, I think it´s time to move on if I want to share the gaming experience of DDO. I´ve been with the Crawlers since I started, about 2 years ago, and besides the occasional run with a guildie (no more than 15-20 in 2 years...), it´s been all soloing or pugging. I´ve been mantaining the guild on our leader´s abcense for the last 3 or 4 months (I´ve been supporting all ships buff since day 1). I feel like a traitor, but I need to feel the camaredie of D&D PnP to keep playing.
To summarize my dilemma: My main character is a juggernaut, not because I like it, but because it´s a great build to solo or survive the actual pug scene. I want to play bards and pallys!

I'm rather new to DDO myself, having only solo'd a Fighter up to lvl 4 on Thelanis.
I'm currently looking for a guild to join namely to be amongst other players but without a lot of the immaturity the typical "mmo player" has.
Being a newbie, not many people are looking to recruit me due to my inexperience. I also have some technical limitations due to how remote a location I live (Dial-up, yes ladies and gentlemen it still exists) which means I have to run with voicechat off.
I do not fit into the age demographics, I'm only in my mid-twenties (25 to be exact) but I love DDO and am hoping to find others who do as well.
I currently reside on the west coast of the US (yet only have dial-up available...cursed small towns.)

Hello Animusi!
Dial up might suck for you, but it will not exclude you from Tyrs. :) Neither will your age.

Hey GT,
I've been reading though the Guild forums for hours and it jumps out to me that Tyrs Paradium is were I belong, if you'd accept me.
About me.
I originally started playing DDO back when it was full P2P some 7years ago.
Even back then i was using toon names like - Torilius or similar. and was sporting a high Lvl Wizard as my main.
I was involved heavily with with a guild (Citadel I think) and was playing some 20-50hrs a week. Yeah, i remember them 24hr straight weekend sessions. :)
I can't remember why but RL got busy and i joined the Defence Force so had to break away for a while.
I tried coming back a few years ago and had to start over again. I joined Tyrs (I think) but with my service couldn't commit enough time.
Now i have ended my fulltime service and started back in the civilian world, leaving a bit more spare time for me, so I want to get back into some fun runs.
Even with my past history in game, I feel like a complete noob again with all these changes i barely remember much anyway.
I'm looking for a fun guild that runs together and sticks together, and yes! without the drama's :)
Initially, I'll need to be re-taught probably just about everything, so a guild who is willing to spend some time with their members.
Hope to hear from you.
I live in Australia, can probably play a few hrs weeknights and weekends are always open for major playtime.
Oh and i don't meet your requirement age of 30+, I'm currently only 29.
Now I'm running in game with:
Torileus (Lvl16 Pali), My main
Torillius (lvl7 Wiz)
Torileos (lvl5 Cleric)
Triandraa (lvl5 Sorc)

I have gone through your thread and read almost all the other posts. I have been playing DDO now for about 6 months and have been a part of 10 or 12 guilds, I get into one, it becomes a hassle no one is on to run w/ or just to many young kids acting out in it > I do not mind soloing, actually I do most of questing solo but have gotten extremely bored doing so and now after playing for awhile I have figured out that I am missing out on a lot stuff just soloing. Looking a down to earth, family oriented guild that I can chat to others and learn from them being in the same mind set. I am a retired Navy Chief w/ 21.6 years of service to this country and really do not feel like dealing w/ b/s anymore, just want to play and enjoy and relearn the game. If this happens to seem like a decent fit for you guild please send me invite through the mailbox. Thank you in advance for you consideration.
I have 4 toons on Ghallanda but mainly only play 2
Duloci lv 10 barb
Melachite lv 10 Pal
Kathria lv 7 ranger lv 2 rouge

When other guilds get smaller, ours continues to increase. Why? Because casuals know how to Rock n Roll... put another dime in the jukebox baby...

Tyrs is STILL ROCKin & ROLLiN and setting the standard for casual, fun and talented play on the Ghallanda server. We can do the end game, and everything south. We run together, where team play and camaraderie supersedes egos and selfishness.

Greetings,
45 yr old, retired air force, and old time pen and paper rpg'er thinking about re-subbing to DDO and looking for an active guild. I spoke with an officer in-game (can't remember the name; had two names, first started with an "S" and the second with a "Q").
I have played DDO off and on since the beginning. I was in beta for both original build and the F2P build. Only been in small guilds before and haven't leveled my toons very far. Would like to experience the Forgotten Realms stuff.
Anyway, was hoping to hook up with someone in-game and maybe run a couple quests and see how that goes. Look forward to hearing from you folks.

Hi.
I´m from Colombia (UTC -5), 33 years old and play D&D from long time ago, and now I´m playing DDO. I´m geographer, have two dogs and work in conservation projects here in Colombia.
I have a toon (barbarian 4lvl, next level warrior lvl 1) and reading your post, I think that will be great be part of your guild.
I love this game and now I´m learning English too and I think that learn while playing and talk with people fans of D&D is perfect.
I can play at night in the week and weekends all day :P
Do you think that I could be part of Tyrs Paladium? and laugh with you?

Hi, 47 yo male from East Coast TZ looking to meet up with an active Guild. Back into DDO after about a year break. Have many toons from a Lvl 16/2 Ranger/Rogue to some Lvl 10 Arti, Fighter & Paladins to Lvl 4 Wizard. Have seen members of your Guild ingame all over the different zones so that's a great sign of an active group. My Main's ingame name is Chartan and if you are still recruiting, I would love to meet up with you. Have voice comms up & running. Thank you.

I am a 53 year old retired Air Force looking who recently re-sub to play again. Looking for a guild with seasoned (mature players) to help and assist with the game and for me to reciprocate. I would like an invite if possible to the guild and start my adventuring with fellow DnD players. I have played many online MMOs as well dabbled in pen and paper DnD in the 80's. I have several characters highest being lvl 8 and below as a wizard, rogue, fighter, cleric and paladin. In-game wizard name is Rodun. I am from the East Coast and normally play online from 5 pm - 8 pm sometimes longer and times vary on weekends and holidays.

Are you getting bored? Have you had it with lousy pug experiences... or simply the lack of many PUG experiences at all?
If you are looking for a guild who specializes in no drama, fun adventures, where fun, teamwork and your character experience trumps elitism and self indulged play.... then take a look at Tyrs Paladium. In our runs, you'll get to play your character the way he/she was meant to be played...
That's the Tyrs way.

As so many more games hit the market, and the DDO playerbase dwindles, Tyrs Paladium keeps chugging along. We are always looking for good natured folk that wants to play with other adventurers in a FUN, laid back environment. We are fortunate enough to be able to run any content in the game due to the organization and teamwork that we are best known for Ghallanda-wide.
Play Hard, laugh hard, and win, together!

Tyrs Paladium continues to seek bright minds that are interested in joining a group of like-minded warriors that choose to run together. That means sticking together in quest and no zerging. We play hard and laugh hard, never leave another guildie behind and never hold a quest or raid to a higher standard than one of our guildies.
We do not hire based on tenure in the game. We simply seek those that wish to be a part of a guild who's main goal is practicing day in and day out the fun and legendary camaraderie D&D was founded upon.
You will find all sorts of goodwill here in Tyrs, from the moment you join. We don't just say we are a no-drama guild, we actually ensure it ! :)
Seek me out in game or in PM and let me know if you seek something really fun and different, something more than "just another guild."

Hi, I currently play on Cannith and well, its a dying server. I came across your stuff here and I am thinking about making the move over. I have been playing since 2010, I have a completionist toon that I would eventually move over and a few others as well too. In the meantime, I created a lvl 4 monk to see what things were like. I immediately was impressed impressed by the amount of people on. At any rate, I liked what I saw about the guild, what I could access from the website, you guys seem like a breath of fresh air. So, if you still have room, I would like to join you guys. IF you have a lot of room, I may even be able to convince a few people that I have been running with on Cannith to come over as well. I am 36 yrs old male, vip. Can't wait to hear back from you.

The Tyrs gates are open again for recruiting, and we are hoping for a Sizzlin' September for recruitment.
So if you are looking for an experienced guild that KNOWS HOW TO HAVE A GOOD TIME, tired of the PUG scene, or maybe are the only one driving your once active and thriving guild's airship... throw on your hiking boots and head on over to the Tyrs Recruitment Outpost and fill out a questionnaire. I'll contact you and we can discuss your DDO future.
DDO is not dead. And Tyrs Paladium is stronger than ever.
Make way evil! Chin up, less talk, more fight!

This guild recruitment section seems like it's DEAD!! Read the forums daily, and you'd think the game IS DONE FOR! In game, it's a bit better. In Tyrs Paladium, it's a whole new game.
If you are green, highly experienced, or anywhere in between, are tired of being a nobody in your current guild, or looking forward to a group play experience where you feel PART of something special, look no further!
We are looking for only the finest adventurers, measured not in named items found or number of TR toons, or any self accomplishments, but in the yearning for CAMARADERIE, TEAMWORK, and GREAT ADVENTURES in a no drama setting.
Build and Play YOUR CHARACTER, YOUR WAY, in Tyrs Paladium.

We are definitely excited. We made the move to Shivtr, and are blown away by its front end for our guildies. Recruitment couldnt be faster. Signing up for scheduled runs is a breeze... as hard as selecting the character you are going to sign up with and PRESTO, you are in! For any guild looking to upgrade their experience for their guildies, Shivtr is hard to beat.
Drop on by and say hello!

Our transfer to our new internet home was a big hit. Tyrs Paladium, is a guild well known on Ghallanda for it close-knit community, good-natured camaraderie, and strong play ethics (loyal to party, and will only play the game the way its meant to be played, whether in guild or in PUG groups.)
To prove we remain relevant and fresh after all these years, we felt a successful launch of our new website was a necessary and integral piece to achieve that goal, and we are grateful to guildies for making this happen!!!
Guildies can now:
http://www.jach.hawaii.edu/%7Ehps/clipart/Bullets/Misc/eyes.gif Post and sign up for quests and raids on a calender that automatically adjusts your time zone.
http://www.jach.hawaii.edu/%7Ehps/clipart/Bullets/Misc/eyes.gif Post and sign up for quests and raids with a slick new MOBILE WEBSITE that works great on ANDROID and iPHONE/iPAD devices and smartphones anywhere and anytime you have reception (and your boss or teacher isnt looking!!)
http://www.jach.hawaii.edu/%7Ehps/clipart/Bullets/Misc/eyes.gif Team up with the new Tyrs Fellowship, an up and coming No Drama Alliance between some of Ghallanda's most respected guilds, small lesser known guilds, and Vagabonds (warriors from many corners of Ghallanda, who may or may not wear guild tags!)
We also would like to welcome our NEWEST TYRS RECRUITS!!! LoooooNG LIVE DDO!!!!
Mialee of Magic, Dolina, Druninn, Yurki Blacktooth, Noctul, Lerissa frogkiller, Elwoode, Oshtara, Yeozi Sprocketshot, Merwins, Otec Vizhion, Shakriel, Forcas, Synalon, Dravylla Sa Tarni'im, Ardentt Strider, Figmenta Destriant, Bloodlickr, Herakk, Tahni, Lostfool, Ulvein, Pindaro, Cyndassa, Drizzt III, Kalabraska, oool, Rahyvin, Krystal Apathy, and oh where IS THAT last one... oh YES over there, Beckk the Lost!! https://www.ddo.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.png

Are YOU an Old School D&D player? Ever roll dice? Ever play the Balder's Gate series? Did you ever play Pool of Radiance, Dark Queen of Krynn, or Curse of Azure Bonds? Ever heard of TSR or SSI? A legendary Game Master called Gary Gygax, perhaps?
Then Tyrs Paladium is interested in talking with you!
Did you ever wish DDO was MORE than just a solo game?
Well it IS in good company!
Head on over to our website, and read our guild rules carefully. They are strictly enforced. For the enjoyment of our members, drama will not be tolerated.

Tyrs Paladium looks as if we are having a BANNER YEAR in 2015 as membership is really strong.
We are going to take a two week hiring freeze so we can really get to know our new recruits of the past 2 months.
Hit me up privately (PM) if you'd like to be considered for hire as soon as the Tyrs Gates open once again in two weeks...

HISTORIC CLIMB to GUILD LEVEL 100 took 5 YEARS! And we did it LEGIT, in a casual guild where real life comes first. So many past and present guildies to thank for this achievement... WITHOUT YOU ALL WE ARE NOTHING!!!
Also big thanks to our fellow Ghallandians, who've helped us PUG after PUG - guild run after guild run, adventure after adventure, along the way.
No matter what anyone tells you, play hard, laugh hard, and win, together! Guild level 200.... here we come!

Hiya,
I'm currently looking to join a fun active guild. I've been playing for a little over 4 years and have ran a very small guild for about 2 of those years.
Since then my RL friends that were in my guild have lost interest in the game and I am now in a guild of just myself and a few others but only myself and one other are actually active. I do enjoy PUG's but also looking for a little more than just random pugs. My main toon Xaivu is level 15 and on his 9th life. I have a few other toons and have played most classes.
I have already contacted a random person in Tyrs in game, they directed me to your web site. I filled out an application about 2 days ago, and not sure if it was received.
Cheers

The Ghallanda server is an amazing place to be if your goal is to join a GOOD ACTIVE GUILD. Don't be persuaded to look elseware because of current server woes. There's a REASON we arent going anywhere... and few others are either.
The Tyrs Paladium guild is recruiting new members and all adventurers 30 years or older:
* who wish to be an active brother or sister in a FUN, ACTIVE, NO DRAMA & NO ZERG guild
and/or
* who wish to RUN TOGETHER with your GUILDIES like the good old days of DDO
... are welcome to apply to JOIN US!
We have the BEST system to get guildies to sign up for quests and raids. And its all accessible on your iPhone or Android mobile device... Sign up for quests and raids right on your cell and reserve your spot!
And the best part? Everyone knows everybody in Tyrs Paladium. We are a medium to large sized guild, but we run it all tight knit.
To join Tyrs Paladium (It's real simple!):

Is the age 30-50 a hard requirement? I'm only 18 but I think I'm relatively dedicated and mature for my age.
I am extremely interested in joining. I've been playing for a few weeks, invested in the Druid Pack and Catacombs Starter Pack, but haven't really touched any of it but the Druid class yet. So far I've only played with one other person, while I appreciate his help I'd love to belong to more of a community. I believe I'm at 4th Level right now, so I'd be happy to transfer to your server and start over. I'm pretty active, easily playing games more than a quarter of the day :P and I'd say I'm pretty friendly.

It's not a rock solid requirement but you still fall a tad bit shy. 25 years old is about as low as we'll go with rare exceptions.
However, I do have a strong recommendation for you. We host an alliance of guilds on Ghallanda which encompass guilds that play just like we do, called the Fellowship. We share a private in-game channel, our guild website as well as the Fellowship Website. So it will literally be like you were a guildie. We communicate and run together every day and every night...
Give me the ok, and I'll let the guild leaders know you are interested -- and we'll get you into a Fellowship guild right away.
If you wish to do some homework, check the links bellow in my signature :) Then let me know via PM or just respond here ...

In all seriousness though, you're invited to fill out an app and if hired, roll a toon or two. You can always go back and play over on Cannith whenever you like, but I'm telling you playing with guildies/friends is where its at in DDO!

August was a great month as Tyrs Paladium has expanded its reach on the Sword Coast!
We are the very first guild to launch in Sword Coast Legends! A CRPG throwback to Baldur's Gate days, with a modern engine and 5th Ed rules, and custom play designed dungeons and campaigns! Tyrs Paladium will be DMing our own custom campaigns LIVE in game!
Join us in both DDO and Sword Coast Legends! Launch day is in a few weeks so don't miss it! (Some of our guildies will make this their B game.) Time to get our ROLE PLAY ON!
HAVE DO DOUBTS. TYRS PALADIUM IS D&D. FUN AND ADVENTURE CAN NOT DIE WHEN ITS BUILT FROM THE GROUND UP WITH CAMARADERIE AND TEAM FOCUS. That's the Tyrs Way.

Hello,
I'm in my 40s, played at the table when I was younger, took a reprieve, and a year ago found DDO online. I'm on Argo, in a helpful guild, but I can't ever seem to find a team to run with. The few times I was part of a team, I really loved it and want to do more. If your guild is what you say it is, I'd be willing to transfer servers to have people to play with (and I love the no zerging rule). I play evenings and nights west coast time. If you're still hiring, could you let me know? My IGN is Kancamagus,
Thank you

Hey there. Read your post and sounds like a good group to be a part of. I'm 39 and live in PA. Back when DDO first came out I played a lot with a close group of friends. I took a break for a few years and am just recently getting back into it. The guys I had been in a guild with though, have all moved on to other games. So I'm looking for a guild that welcomes the not so new, new guy and would be willing to show me all the new content the game has to offer. I'm a VIP member and only work two days a week plus school, so I have plenty of time to get in game. I just logged into Ghallanda and it turns out I already have three characters rolled up. Rocephin, Gordak and Drynx.
So if you guys are still looking for new blood, hit me up with a PM. I'd love to be a part of an active and friendly guild.
Thanks

Change guilds for the holidays!
- Are you in a guild that doesn’t even know you exist?
– Are you constantly looking to run, and no one will run with you?
– Or, is your guild a GHOST TOWN, or doesn’t play often enough for your liking?
Check out THE ACTION in Tyrs Paladium. We are a very tight knit active guild, and would love to add you to our roster as long as you abide by two simple principles: No zerging and no drama. We are PvE TEAM focused. We LOVE TO GROUP!!!
Everyone knows everybody in Tyrs, and the camaraderie here is the straw that stirs the drink. Bring your gear, but leave your ego in the rear!

Our guild just raised $435 in real life for two families that couldn’t afford to give their children gifts for Christmas. There were two sets of bright little tike smiles due to the generosity of our guild elders. When our guildies tell the guild founders (Paks and myself) that we are family, and we witness something like this, we have no choice but to feel the heart of this guild beat.
This is Tyrs Paladium.

I could send a private message or go to your website but a bump never hurts.
I fit your age range (at the upper end) and am a new player. Which means low level characters and not skilled in the quests. But extensive - and I mean *extensive* - MMO experience. Also old experience with AD@D single player games and paper and pencil through second edition.
My plan is to run a few "alts" to get the feel and level up fairly slowly to enjoy the game and sniff the roses. Not speed-level to be available for raids.
I'm not on your server but I only started a few days ago and will happily start over for the sake of being in a good guild.
(1) Do you think I fit your style? Particularly as what most games would call a "social" member not a raider or end-game grouper for the foreseeable future. But I'll stay around I subscribed for a year, bought both expansions and some extra Turbine points.
(2) I have bad hearing (note I did say upper end of your age range). Do you use typed chat extensively or mostly voice chat? No matter how often a guild says voice "isn't required" I don't want to be in one without active typed chat.
(3). If the answers to (1) amd (2) are encouraging I'll start over with a paladin, cleric or artificer or maybe all three. Any recommendations for a good first character and one that would be useful in guild groups. No need to say "play what you enjoy" that rather goes without saying. Feel free to suggest a different class.
Thanks.

So what have I been doing in all this lag!? Oh down with two bouts of strep throat!! I'm sure of they x-rayed me -- my ribs and back would look like Finlandia swiss cheese. Hackin like a mo-fo...
Certainly that means no new hires in the last 30 days..... But wait..... all the codeine I've been in-taking hasn't made me totally lose my mind!!
We are thrilled that we have the fortune to add some new blood to the brightest side of DDO -- Tyrs Paladium! Baltazarr, Mavah, Molleafauss, Relontyrr, Marrowstrike, Arlosian, Amte Mckillington, Kepli Ko'rrin, Kanaster, Taytlin Narrash, & Toy -- WELCOME ABOARD and See ya in game !!

I am not known for my accuracy, but I seem to think we are around the 130 mark. pushing renown isnt the b-all and end-all of Tyrs, good when we get up a level, but better to enjoy the questing and the folk you are questing with. Don't take my word for it, run with us and find out the only real way :)

As many long time DDO forumites might remember, Tyrs Paladium supports the Able Gamers Foundation. (http://www.ablegamers.com/) We proudly accept guild members with all levels of accessibility needs.
I am going to share a video and story you may never forget. To those who are parents of an autistic child... or know someone well who is, this is bound to move you.
If you are a parent, hell if you even have a pulse this will require immediate KLEENEX attention.
Having FEEL and stage presence is something ALL the music greats possess. This boy... BLIND, and AUTISTIC, simply deafens this audience in disbelief. This boy sees more than we do. His name is Christopher Duffley, and this boy... is a gift to the World.
This was the most listened to video on the Tyrs Moshpit (http://youtube-playlist-randomizer.valami.info/playlist3.php?pl%5B%5D=PLCOfyDOvlXb7117JnJCkEKRLL5 Cf55wk3) last week.

I've been playing RPGs for 30 years, played a lot of D&D games with groups of friends- they handle the tech stuff, I just make the food, lol... So I have been reading through the Guild Recruitment Forum & I really like everything I've read. Something I can really appreciate is the "out of game" content your guild brings/offers. I've worked with children K-12 & over the years worked with many children & young adults with autism. From age 18-22 y/o I taught Early Childhood, taught Art K-12 & Continued Education (both Art, Martial Arts,& Tai Chi Chuan), but in the last 8 years I have mainly worked with children & young adults with autism at my Guru/Shifu's "Karate School". Not all of my students are considered to be "Savants", but it never fails to amaze me, given the right environment, how truly skilled & devoted my students have become in both the Fine Arts & Martial Arts. So when I saw the story of the young man who had learned to sing, it was really inspiring & yes it certainly turned on the water works, sniff... Verbal skills & the expression of emotion maybe two of the most uncomfortable & most difficult to learn skill sets for those with autism. I have never seen the like before-granted my experience over 26 years has usually been limited to or 2 students per class I've taught (and I was in the U.S. Army for 12 years so my experience working in pediatrics or maternity was limited to about 48 weeks outside of the Army Nursing Corp curriculum/clinical in those areas). But how truly amazing... How wonderful of you to share that with everyone.
I would love to join your guild & get to know its members. If what I have read is any indication of the values you foster, I have a feeling I am going to be making a lot of new friends. If I'm lucky maybe some live near St.Louis, lol....
I just want to say thank you as well. Reading this thread has really made my day :)

Greetings,
I've played mmo's for years, but started out with AD&D pnp as a teenager....and that's been a few years ago. Married, 51 years old, with 4 kids and I'm having fun with the adventure and cooperation in DDO. I've posted as looking for a permadeath guild as well, but that's not a requirement, it just sounded fun and close to the way I remember pnp. Anyway, I have toons rolled on other servers, but nothing terribly serious as I'm just learning the mechanics. My highest level is 6.
This sounds like the right environment for me. I play regularly (CST) but difficult to commit to any one day/night of the week...constantly shifting schedule with teenagers, work, house, etc...
I'm happy to roll a toon on your server and introduce myself more thoroughly :)

Yes the same group of people and those are not the only games we are in. Transfers from server to server costs money and can be done. If you are not too attached to your character you can start again, or transfer. Hope to see you in game.

Admit it, you are TIRED OF GRINDING. TIRED OF RUNNING SOLO. Or tired of being in a guild where you either don't know anybody or haven't seen them IN AGES!
Maybe you are new, or just returning after a long layoff and are looking for some direction and camaraderie.
If anything above resembles your situation -- give Tyrs Paladium a STRONG LOOK.
Because why get your shiny alone when...
it's always more fun to get that shiny IN PARTY!

Toys For Tyrs Tots REAL LIFE GUILD EVENT!
Let’s Rally for “Toys For Tyrs Tots!!”
It’s real simple. If you as a parent cannot afford to buy your children (OF ANY AGE) toys for Christmas, Hanukkah, or whatever holiday you celebrate (or even if you do not celebrate a religious holiday), Tyrs Paladium would like to make that happen for you, right now.
Tyrs Paladium is an MMO gaming guild for those 30 years of age and older, and is home to many active military and Veterans, gamers with accessibility challenges, seniors, and other friendly gamers from around the world. We specialize in no drama, no zerg team play where Camaraderie is King.
We are holding our TOYS For TYRS TOTS drive starting today through the 24th.
To be considered for help, all you need to do is contact me on http://TYRSPALADIUM.com (https://forum-en.guildwars2.com/external?l=http%3A%2F%2FTYRSPALADIUM.com) via email me at tyrspaladiumguild@gmail.com (tyrspaladiumguild@gmail.com)
Tell me the situation if you wish, or simply state that you are in need. Whether you cannot buy a gift, or whether what you CAN buy your child is simply not good enough to you, and you want to give more, we want to lend a hand.
We want to also include family members and friends of Tyrs Paladium guild members, including members of the DDO FELLOWSHIP and the NEVERWINTER FELLOWSHIP in our donation drive this year. If a CHILD CLOSE TO YOU is in need, we want to assist them this holiday season. Just tell us the story.
Paks and I, the Tyrs Paladium guild founders, will keep your name, contact information, and your story absolutely CONFIDENTIAL. We will send Amazon Gift cards split based on the urgency of the need, limited only on what we can raise.
We will be accepting donations on https://www.gofundme.com/tyrs4tots (https://forum-en.guildwars2.com/external?l=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.gofundme.com%2Ftyrs4t ots) as well as through PayPal.
For PayPal please click the PayPal Donate button on the bottom right of our guild website.
Last year we had two families in need, and if that number grows this year… we will be ready to give.
Thank you in advance for whatever you can donate.
If no one comes forth in need this year, we will donate to a children’s charity of the Tyrs Paladium community’s choosing (We’ll take requests then put up a poll!" Those in need, and their stories will be STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL.
Tyrs Paladium… WE ARE A DIFFERENT KIND OF GAMING GUILD. I guess many of our guildies are right… WE ARE FAMILY.

And in under 48 HOURS…. the amazing folks of TYRS PALADIUM have hit our $400 gofundme goal. At least ONE hard working single mom who is going to school while raising two kids by herself will be able to buy her children some nice presents this season.
I am real proud of this guild. I’ve been in it almost a quarter of my entire life. This is the kind of things we do here. This is the Tyrs way.

Do you dream of the DDO days of old, when practically EVERYONE AROUND YOU was excited about DDO? Those days never died for us.
We PLAY the game the WAY IT WAS INTENDED, TOGETHER. Tyrs will be here in 2018, 2019, 2020, and on.
We run it tight knit, and we are organized. Everyone knows everybody in Tyrs. That's the way we still like it.
Quality over Quantity. Forever.
Tyrs Paladium would like to wish all a safe and happy Easter holiday weekend with your families. BE SAFE on those roads!

Greetings! My name is James and I am.....oh my god I am 50+ now, wasn't I just in my 20's...must have been a spell of aging thrown at me somewhere a few years back:)
Although I started playing when the game first started I only played a short while. Came back to give the game another go and see what has developed over the years. My experience in game is pretty low with 1 character at level 5 and another probably there today(Rafael Firstarrow. My experience outside DDO is City of Heroes which I loved, was a member and co-leader for a run of the oldest Hero Group on my server. Was with COH from a few days of the start to standing with all the faithful as the server went dark. We were a have fun, help each other out and no drama...hope that sounds familiar;) What I loved about COH was the game seemed to really be about having fun and met some great people and just had no interest in WOW as it did not seem to be about the same thing.
I am a casual player who likes to do groups or solo. Would love to meet and join the guild and even if no room always nice to find more souls to get to know on the server.
Take care and have a great weekend!
James

I wanted to see if your wonderful guild is still recruiting?
Little about me, I’ve read all the 3.5 edition books but never played with an actual group. I love the stories and lore just never got around to it. When I saw DDO for the first time I was enthralled and amazed yes my love of D&D has been realized! Lol
So, I dive in and get to about level 8 or 9 on a character realize how much I don’t know and I become over whelmed and quit.
But I find myself always coming back and trying, well this time I wanted to see if I could try my hand at joining a guild. I’ll admit my knowledge base is nill but my enthusiasm is high.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

I am proud to say that our application was just accepted yesterday. We are the newest official sponsor of HOMES FOR OUR TROOPS!
Starting in the early fall, we will start an epic fundraising campaign for this awesome organization of volunteers that build homes for disabled veterans. There are even ways to help out beyond donating money. During our annual Tyrs Veterans Day Event, I will announce how much we've raised.
What's so cool about this is we as a guild actually pick a home project and veteran and get to be a part of the project TO COMPLETION! The best loot aint bound, it's found or earned and given away to those who need it more.
I'm going to ask guildies and the Ghallanda & Neverwinter Fellowship to spread the word when its time. Lets do something AMAZING here.. something never done before.
Here is just a sneak peak at what we will be a part of in the Fall:

Hey!
Seems like an amazing guild your advitising. But i have one question
Why minimun age 30?
I totally understand why you do not want young people, as they may cause drama, or they haven't matured ect. However talking from a fourteen year olds perspective, some of us are not that bad lo.
Mabye instead of having a mininum age, you can quest with them and get to know them. As some of us younger people 'cough' know alot about the game, and i bet some could even suprise you! :P
But to be serious again, age dosen't matter, i believe it the personality and gameplay.

You are quite mature sounding for 14 year old, so much love!
The reasons for our 30+ rule is several-fold. We have decided to be a guild exclusive to "old school" gamers. We are very much a niche guild, that caters to a mindset and playstyle that not many teenagers would find fun. We also have a set of guild rules that the typical young player just would have trouble adhering to.
We DO make exceptions however and have brought in players as young as 21 , but 14 is just a bit shy of where we begin recruiting.
I DO have a possible solution however, since you sound like you arent just mature but also seek an environment and a camaraderie that we have become known for.
We are the hosts of the Tyrs Fellowship, the leading no drama alliance which includes some awesome guilds that adhere to the same standards that Tyrs Paladium sets -- and there is no age minimum for most guilds.
We are one big happy family of gamers -- so you may be able to join in with Tyrs and other guilds to run whatever it is that there is scheduled.
If you fill out our application on our website http://tyrspaladium.shivtr.com (http://tyrspaladium.com) , I'll personally ask a few guild leaders of member guilds of our alliance to pick you up.
See BandVP... Heck maybe we'll see you in game after all!!
