Does GL requirement lower ML on gear?

Does GL requirement lower ML similar to how RR lowers ML?

I only pulled 1 piece of GL required gear yesterday and didn't bother to check...

Can anyone confirm?

No, GL has no bearing on ML, positive or negative.

Nor does it raise the price of the gear. It has a neutral effect on anything except usability.
