Epic Item - Tokens and Upgrade Loss - Be Warned

After upgrading one of my epic items, the dust heart to the newer version i was shocked to find out that all of the upgrades on the item were lost

thats 50 dugeon tokens wasted ppl

the process itself cost me 3 dungeon tokens, which i can live with no problems, but to loose all my upgrades is abit much i now have to re-farm all 50 of those and upgrade the item again.

what are my chances of getting these back somehow?
Or reversing the process at least until i get enough tokens together to perfom this upgrade.

So be warned if theres no solution to this then your loosing alot more than you think.

None this was brought up in lamma and we were told its working as intended.

can they not just refund the tokens to me. really sucks to waste so many

This deserves to be brought again now that it's on live, as it now effects a lot more people. Even farming the easiest quests, it's still a significant time investment. Also, hard to believe they can't be somehow be kept on the item considering how the sword of shadows changed.

Kinda late showing up with this rant aren't ya, I was ****ing and moaning about this 2-3 weeks ago, not enough people jumped on board with me. Hence the devs must have felt my 60 token loss was minimal. If more people complained maybe they would have heard our unified voices. But seems you are to late, live with it, I am.

Pretty obvious why they did it that way isn't it, more grind grind grind.

i only just found out about it yesterday after i upgraded an item.

Still can we get a dev to comment on this MAJOR change, ie are we getting out tokens back or not?

They have commented many many times. I could give you alink but you can't read it as its in the other forums. So let me sum up what it said "NO you are not getting them back"

53 tokens wasted you that amounts to lets see
8 epics a day (4vons 4desert) about a week of every day non stop epics
oh wait, i forgot you no longer even get a token at the end chest in some quests
instead you get random mob drops of a fragment of a token and you need 100 to make an single token.

man they really screwed the grind up there.

just reverse my epic upgrade and return my 53 tokens turbine and ill be happy

else i will post in this thread until something is done.
