Wondering how you would use this to your advantage? Is this like Intimidate. Why would you want to generate more hate towards yourself for 60 secs, wouldn't your usual DPS draw enough aggro?

Sometimes you want monsters to look at you, especially raid bosses. This is useful if you are a high hp or ac build. Since we don't get intimidate as a class skill, the best way is to get more hate from the boss by smacking him around. Rather than beating on the boss by yourself for a while to get more hate, or just hoping you can out damage everyone else in the party, Divine Rightousness lets you amplify your hate generation, ensuring boss man only looks at you.

Its very useful if you are an ac-based, shield-using character who wants to draw more aggro than a two handed or two weapon character. With righteousness, its possible to get and stay ahead.
