I won't bother with the combat downgrades, that horse has already been beaten to death.

All guilds used to have the ability to mail a recruiting sigil to a player, which is very nice in a small guild. Now all guilds have lost that ability and must purchase it.

Logging in after being offline for 1+ hours used to restore all of your hps, mana, and clickies, that no longer happens.

Empty favor page bug? Still there. They were too busy "adding content" to fix existing known issues.

Notice any more downgrades lately? Post here!

They cant charge for bug fixes. New content pays the bills and keeps the lights on!

You don't have to purchase it, you guild needs to be a certain level (I think 6) before you can mail guild invites now.

All guilds used to have the ability to mail a recruiting sigil to a player, which is very nice in a small guild. Now all guilds have lost that ability and must purchase it.

I'm not sure what you mean by "purchase it." Here is what the release notes say:
It is no longer possible to create guild recruitment sigils with a text command. Instead, you can now create and send sigils using the in-game mailbox! Click the "Guild Invite" button on the mail box interface, and a mail invitation with a recruitment sigil will automatically be generated. Simply type in the recipient character's name and send! The recipient can detach the sigil and activate it to join your guild! Your guild must be guild level 5 to utilize this feature, otherwise you should use the standard guild invite commands.

Admittedly, there is a bit of contradiction going on there:
"no longer possible to create guild recruitment sigils with a text command"
vs.
"otherwise you should use the standard guild invite commands"

So apparently it is 'no longer possible' unless your guild is below Level 5, in which case this is the only way to grow your guild?

Logging in after being offline for 1+ hours used to restore all of your hps, mana, and clickies, that no longer happens.

LOL, the new update hasn't even been live for an hour yet, so how have you been able to test this?

Empty favor page bug? Still there.

Okay that one is annoying, I admit.

You don't have to "purchase" it, your guild just has to be level 5.

We recently added client logs to try and track this issue down. Can you please submit a bug report to us with your client logs attached? We are looking for more information for this issue, and have not yet received enough information to determine what is causing it. To send the client logs:
1. Go to your DDO install directory (this is typically under Program Files -> Turbine ->)
2. Look for a file called "dndclient.log"
3. Attach this file to your report in the bug reporting tool (URL="http://forums.ddo.com/new_bug.php?)

This will give the QA and Dev folks good data to review so we can crack the case :)

Tolero,

I will happily do this. This happens to my characters 90% of the time regardless of how I log in. if I move, don't move, relog, restart, etc....

I would certainly make it a high priority bug since not only can you not see favor, you can't see quest names in the lfm tab. Fortunately alot of people actually use text now to note the quest, but there are still times they don't........

I believe "otherwise you should use the standard guild invite commands" means inviting them by clicking on their character and/or using the guild panel ADD button. So, in other words, your guild has to be at least level 5 to invite somebody not in game.

I wonder....how long were these updates on Lam playable before bringing them to live? I mean come on now I can count the number of good things on this updates that were uploaded correctly on one body part that has no fingers or toes.

So in 'fixing' everything lets take a look at the latest destruction to what wasn't broken.

Auction house: nothing is showing enchantment description the # to # takes up MORE space and is MORE confusing than just #d#. Lets not forget expiring auctions that get deleted rather than sent back to poster. Any one else lose a ring of spell storing today? If any one finds it in a trash can please mail it back to my Fvs.

Lag: yep, that was solved real well, market, harbor, and vale not an...never mind..still just as laggy as before.

Guild level rather than officer/member/leader rankings shown. in my personal opinion its no one's effing business what level your guild is and people can tell who recruiters are because they have officer/leader posted above their heads. The only thing the guild level above my head means is how many mooching nooblets I'm going to attract once I get my guild it's airship. (if they ever turn renown back on seriously it was on lam for more than a week it shouldn't be broken.) When it all comes down to it...I don't even want an airship I want a small building instance to my guild that holds a few amenities (bathroom, guild bank, maybe a buff shrine and a spa...screw littering the skies with boats that logically with air traffic would eventually have a fiery collision of death.) Safe, secure ground building, not even that big just for our guildies to hang out while they rp.

As side from that...looking at the renown rewards for levels to do I find myself less than impressed, nothing most of us would use. Obviously the raiding guilds will get the shroud alters on their ship, or at least the devastation one so they don't have to go through the entire shroud to get to use it.

So, when the hamsters behind the desks in turbine stop sticking their noses in warner's brown hole and remember their powered by the fans this won't be so bad. No you can't make every one happy, every one knows it even if they won't admit it but you can fix **** so it's completely playable.

The one good thing (even though it produces lag that they were trying to cut down) is the new weather scheme when it rains. Oh and monks..but that'll be nerfed in a hot fix next week. We few monks know what I'm talking about.

Additional: I won't even go into how much of a horrible idea the guild level items are. If you're going to restrict stuff like that make it so you can use the item but not the guild crafting slot till your guild is that level. Its bad enough I get loot littered with War forged only poison immunity or war forged only underwater action...now I get **** that is min guild level 10 or min level 25? I pulled a pretty BA keen puncturing short sword but it was required guild level 10 after they shut off the renown ***?

Anyone else notice that rogues come out of stealth any time you swing your weapons whereas before it didnt happen until you actually got observed? It kinda hoses up the whole backstab awesome of the class if you miss and stand up so they can all get their free shots in.

I get the idea that their idea of actual testing before release isnt the same as the one we use in the USAF. Go ahead upgrade any planes software this awesomly.

I have no major gripes with U5, I think it adds content that will keep the general populous interested for a few months, would be nice to see a higher level adventure pack though.

However, Once again I have been hit by down grade to F2P stick, so I now have 2 chars locked out and can only post 1 auction at a time. So at the point when guild shard upgradable items start dropping I can’t place anything on the AH. And I’m sure I lost an item from the AH I got a new mail returning the item with nothing attached.

Turbine, thanks for a great game, and I hope you have some success in tracking down some of these irritating bugs soon.

Notice any more downgrades lately? Post here!

No map memory at all anymore (enter a dungeon, lose the map of wilderness area ***?) seems a definite downgrade to me.
Also nice try fixing lag in raids, if anything the games feels more laggy OVER ALL for it.
Just now (6:07 EST, not a time where Cannith tends to be swamped with players) I took a solo stroll around sorrowdusk, when I had 8-10 spiders after me they already started teleporting/rubberbanding, making casting at them a pain.

Together with being downgraded to FTP AGAIN, the messed up AH (that still doesn't have a freaking SEARCHFUNCTION) and all the other fun bugs people are getting... airships and two more PRC-enhancements are definitly NOT worth that mess.

So far U5 seems VERY much a downgrade, waiting for the bugfixes before judging it a complete failure.

Isn't this actually supposed to be a fix? I believe we weren't supposed to stay stealthed when attacking or swinging away with weapons and it actually makes sense.

..they waste time on new sound effects. That is not new content that is just bells and whistles. I would rather have them spen time fixing known problems rather than doing thing like removing the link status from the menu bar.

Right. It reminds me of some of the console games my kids played. Some of the spells had some fancy sound and graphic effects that took minutes (or so it seemed) to display. That stuff was kind of neat once, but got old and annoying very fast.

I had an "oh neat" moment the first time I called a hireling after U5, but now, after several times, I've seen it, I don't need to see it again, let's get on with the game!

That eye candy fluff belongs in the intro movie, and not in the game itself.

Don't move while loading in and it won't happen. Once you can see the UI, open the compendium, and don't move until it fills in. Problem solved.

Moving has nothing to do with it. It is completely random.

Turbine has been aware of this problem for a long time.

Quite frankly, judging by their response to it, the problem is not high on their 'things to do list'.

As far as them needing more data, it's a crock. Instead of producing Mr. Bungle themed content they should actually fix things that are broken. I mean what good is any content if the game doesn't work?

The MANA and HP thing can be confirmed. I have been off for 24 hours and logged in only to find I was still at the same HP and SP for my caster as when I had logged out the day before.

Another dumb thing they did was to explorer areas, recall/leave the area to get pots or something and go back in completely resets the whole map back to black. No longer does the path you took stay open is gone less than 5m, nor does it go to gray out for the areas you ahve already run around in if gone 5m+ or did an area reset to hunt down that elusive rare.

Wrong. But if you like the bug, then keep on moving when loading in.

I've had the opposite experiance. HP and SP are returning to full when logged out for an extended time, by that I mean a few hours. Perhaps it's a bug, in which case I hope it's yours not mine :D

I hold competly still each time so that I can get through the loading lag a bit faster.

I still loose my favor page after a while.

The way the map will black out after a time is really annoying.

I can understand if I'm doint something on a harder difficulty that the map will be reset but explorer areas shouldn't be completly blacked out.

I don't mind grey but the black is really annoying.
