View Full Version : Odd issue with Pre-paid card

Every month i pay my VIP account with a Pre-paid card.

Every month i got no problem whatever they could be.

But this month i have an issue, it wont let me enter the card in.

I mean, i do like every month, i go in change billing information like every time, but then it say they that an error occur
(30005 error).

I then take on me and call the company issuing the pre-paid CC and they say its active and shouldnt have any issue.

So since wednesday i try to enter it, Every time Turbine - Subs Westwood charge me 1$ every try but then refuse to accept the card information.

I sent Account management an email and yet i have to hear from them, during that time i cannot play my toons cause they well they dont have any content or very little.

Any idea what else i could try ?

Oh yeah another point , i dont live far im from canada, so i have no clue what else i can do.

30005 is a verification error. It can occur if the address or name that are registered with the card don't match the information you submit on the Turbine website. It can also occur if the credit card company doesn't verify the 3 digit code on the back of the card.

Different pre-paid cards do handle verification differently. We've found that the re-loadable cards tend to work well with our system. They have the added bonus that you can add them just once, and then add money to the card when you want to spend it, without the $1 authorization holds.

The $1 are just authorization holds - they will be released back tot he card within a few days. If you have questions about the holds, please contact the card company.

You can call the Account Management department, and they can probably do a single payment on the card, without adding it to the system. This process has fewer verification steps, as the card can't be charged again.
