Anyone out there using google wave to do D&D? There is a dice bot you can use to roll. I suppose if you had a quick and easy map making utility a dm could update maps on the fly. I think all the tools are more or less there, as long as you don't mind typing.

The thread here (http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?t=489291)lists several options for using Wave.
I have tried it a couple of times, but MapTools and/or Vent together just work so perfectly that it's a hard combo to beat.

Granted, there are already some good utilities out there such as you mentioned. According to your link, (thanx) it looks like there is enough interest out there and some work being done. I think there is some real potential there due to the way wave interacts. I think with a little more work on the map gadget it could work quite nicely.

Just played around with Maptools, is quite nice. Could use it with wave and upload the maps and use wave to roll dice and communicate.
