My monk is Shinatao Spy, Drow, Light Path. I should have never picked the drow race but did not look into this very much so I'm stuck with him (btw im lvl 7) His stats are 14/19/12/14/14/10 ( I have chosen feats: cleave, combat expertise, diehard, dodge, Fists of Light, and TWF)

I would greatly appreciate help in this. - Sodark (on Orien)

Level 7 ain't that high. Reroll.

My first monk I got to level 8, then re-rolled. Second one is now at 20.

Couple of points:

I don't think you need that much int. Skill points past concentration, jump and balance with one in tumble probably aren't awfully handy.

If you're going for a dex/wis build, you need more points in wis.
If you're going for a str/dex build, you need more points in str.

You don't need cleave.
You don't need combat expertise, unless you REALLY know how you're going to get your AC over 90 for the end game.
You don't need diehard.

You do need toughness.
You do need PA.
You do need weapon finesse, as you appear to be dex-based.

And you do need to read this: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=255593 wherein you'll find all you need to know.

If you're after a social game, play-with-a-friend, don't-have-much-time, not-trying-to-be-the-best approach, then it doesn't much matter, does it?

If, on the other hand, you expect to one day be level 20, and you expect to want to compete with other players for the most damage and the best skills, then every minute you put into this toon is wasted.

If you have plenty of time, you could easily start another toon, bring it up in level solo when not playing with your friend, then switch over. Monks are good soloists - you could do this quite easily and quickly without compromising your playtime with your friend. Frankly, you've made so many mistakes already that I wouldn't encourage persisting with the existing toon.

Take what you've learned and re-roll.

Well you can always buy a Lower Reincarnation token. You can't change race, but you can change your stats. You don't need INT or cha as a monk so let them stay at 10.

If you are a Dex/wis build you could go -> 10/16/14/10/16/10
If you are a str/dex build you could go -> 16/16/14/10/10/10

However, as a drow you should switch to dark and go for ninja spy.

Here is a guide for newer monks written by a guildie, you might want to take a look at it.
