Is there a way to squelch someone on the forums?

As the title says, I am wanting to know if there is a way to squelch someone on the forums. If there is, could someone please explain to me how or at least point me in the right direction?

yes go to usercp and there will be an option to modify your ignore list..

You'll still see the Ignored person's posts if they get quoted by another user, however.
Which still seems flawed to me.
