Hello,
I was just woundering what i get if i become a VIP?
Does being a VIP mean i get EVERY thing unlocked. from races, classes, ALL content, all levels, all spells every thing?
Does being a VIP mean i get all the adventure packs unlocked?
What can i buy from the store with my 500 points a month? gear and missalanus (SC) ****? or will i have to spend these points to buy adventure packs?

You get 500TP every month to spend on stuff in the DDO store.

No you still have to purchase or unlock Veteran build status, 32 pt builds, favored souls and monks. You do get warforged, all spells and all content.

Yes you even get to preview new ones before they are released to the world.

You will not have to buy adventure packs, you do realize you asked the same question 3 times, you can buy loot boosts, sp pots, equipment, cosmetic upgrades to your toons. I probably would not buy weapons or armor in the DDO you can get better in game.
If I missed anything Im sure someone will mention it.

Don't forget. You need favor to unlock drow.

You get most stuff unlocked, you still have to earn certain things like veteran status, and favored souls, ect... You do get all the packs and you get a shared bank, and a few other things, plus you get 500 TP every month.
The argument between Premium and VIP is one of perceptions and patience, you can buy a stack of TPs and get everything a VIP does, with the exception of getting to see new content a week earlier, and in the long run spend less money than a VIP does over the course of about two years (at normal prices, with sales you can do it even cheaper).
So the choice is do you want everything for around $15 per month, or do you want to drop about $200 and buy everything, or do you want to drop a little $ here and there and buy things as you need them, or the last choice do you want to never spend a penny and just grind for TP and use those points to unlock everything.
Regardless of what you choose, I do recommend spending money for at least the cheapest TP bundle as that will get you to premium level and open up two more character slots put let you use the AH without limits and you can then grid for the rest.
Personally and IMO only, I choose to go VIP for three reasons, one I get everything now, I have a limited budget for gaming so I know how much I will be spending every month, and finally if and when I stop playing the game I will not be leaving a bunch of stuff / money just setting there I will feel like I have to use to get my money’s worth out of.

So how come in the FAQ it says
"5. What is a DDO VIP?
Sounds important, right? Well, it is. DDO VIPs are players who want unlimited access to all of the content DDO has to offer. This newly optional subscription program also allows its gamers to enjoy a number of other exclusive benefits, such as a monthly grant of Turbine Points, priority access to servers, the ability to play all classes and races, additional character slots, a shared bank slot, and much more. The cost of becoming a DDO VIP is only $14.99 per month"
I would like to point out it says The ability to play all classes and races. So what you guys are telling me is that this is a lie because i still have to buy classes and races?

You could use the TP you get as VIP to unlock them or get them through earning favor. You don't HAVE to spend any RL cash to get these, unless you choose to.

Incorrect. A VIP has monks unlocked.

This is beating a dead cow (in fact I asked the very same question a couple months ago before I realized the cow was dead).
It's legaleze speak - "ability" to play does not equal "up front". As a VIP you DO have the "ability" to play all races and classes, just like the F2P does. Grind the favor. Hey, don't blame me, I agree it's deceitful wording, but legal in every sense.

You earn the races and classes that are not unlocked by VIP thru favor rewards in game just like anyone else.

VIP's get the Monk class as well. You don't get the Drow or the Favored Soul, but both are unlockable. Purchasing them in the store just unlocks them for all servers without needing to play the favor game.

Favor is earned by completing quest. How much favor depends of the quest level and difficulty setting. It takes 2500 favor to unlock a FvS I do not know how much TPs they cost right now, but normally around 800TP is what I have seen in the past.

ummm, of course they care about money, they are after all a company not a non-profit organization.
While I have issues with this game, I still expect Turbine to make money, and it is not like they have not given options for people that don't want to spend any or much money.

Favor is generated for your character as they complete quests in the game. You have a favor totals for the various game entities like the Houses and the Coin Lords. As you gain certain levels of favor it unlocks game elements for the character that earned the reward (and some account level benefits like Drow). Some awards are offered by the individual entities like Bank Slots from House K, or Special Quivers from House D. Others are derived from total favor, such as Drow and 32pt builds.

You can't possibly be serious. Do you know how the real world works?
You asked your questions they were answered. Do you seriously want to get into an arguement about what a company should "care" about? They care about making a profit. Nothing less, and nothing more. Welcome to the real world.
Absurd.

It's been brought up by people who don't understand what they are reading.
Before f2p ever existed, everyone who played was paying a monthly fee. Those people could not just make a drow, or a favoured soul. They had to unlock them by earning favor, by completing quests.
After f2p was added, and those people paying monthly are now called VIP, nothing has changed with respect to drow and favored soul. They are still unlocked by earning favor if you are VIP.
There is not deception. There is only ignorance on the behalf of people commenting when they don't know what they are talking about.

Turbine - a wholly owned subsidiary of The Forces of Evil (TM), as brought to you by Darth Tolero. Quite the thought.

I remember when, way back in '07, after months of casual playing I reached 400 favor and unlocked Drow. I was excited and rolled up a drow rogue. I still remember being stopped in the harbor and congratulated on my character. I was actually a little bit proud of my accomplishment. Ah yes those where the good ole days!
Now git off my lawn ya young whipper snapper!!!

The the cow is your thought process, then yes, it appears to be dead. If you're referring to the OPTION to buy certain races/classes, then no its not.
These races/classes pre-date the DDO Store by about, oh, 3 years. When the favor system was introduced, it was for this purpose. Not for TP.
These are REWARDS. DDO just lets impatient little whiners have the option to buy them instead of earning them as they were intended.
So, "ability" and "up front" are not really revelent in this case. Just because you "think" something in wrong, doesn't make it so.
Have a nice day little buddy.

Yay, my first flame!
Okay big buddy, thanks for the spankin. Sorry your game went F2P and ruined all your fun. I'm new to DDO and wasn't here to know all the wonderous things you apparently do. However, if you'll remove your elitist glasses and read the blurb about VIP benefits from a non-biased viewpoint (sorry I know that's tough) you can see where it would be confusing to us low-life n00bs. That's all I was stating.
So far I enjoy the game and being VIP to support the game (so kinda like I'm a subscriber, not an impatient little whiner, right?). So please, get off your high horse. I'm here on the forums to learn and help, not waste my time with bitter trolls.

you also get to open quests on hard instead of normal. Might be a minor thing but as someone who just downgraded from vip to premium its the biggest pain for me.

I agree that this does imply that I can play all races/classes from day one without further action as a VIP (even though as a VIP I know this isn't the case):
the ability to play all classes and races
