If a new character (not me this time :D) was seeking advice on good gear for a The Font Of Healing build. If I told him/her that the best devotion/power items would be great for that build and happened to say something like Turn Undead is useless. Knowing that this is a brand NEW player and probably doesnt have any thing special unlocked, unless they bought it in the store, am I wrong for telling the formentioned player that Turning undead is useless for them?
The reason I'm asking is because I understand that it does have its usefulness to certain players, more so for those that know what they are doing and can specialize in a turning build, but immediately I was getting spam'd by a player about how I was wrong and that I should stop spreading false information. This then led of course into the guy telling me he is TR'd and how superb turning is, and boasted of solo'ing quests with his cleric (Who would of thought? O.o). I tried explaining to the guy the difference between I eventually stoped responding when this person started calling me ignorant and how I was entertaining him.
So I'm curious on the communities stand point on this situation and would also like to know if I am as ignorant as this person would like to believe I am.
